cars, girls & cake all day everyday

If we have the last reply in a thread and we make another post with a quote, the content of that post would just get merged into the first post.

Lazy multiquoting for the win, homie g dawg.

Dear tomorrow, Find some sensibility, Respond to emotion.
Dear Politician, Define sagacity,
All chances of survival are beginning to diminish.
Comedy is no excuse for our own blasphemies.
Mass media, Mass pessimism, Mass Denial.
My television tells me to panic, but I don't think I'll listen.
The apathetic force us to persevere, with their backwards priorities.

I -blam!- wish.

Seriously though, this idea can change the face of bungie.net forever (a very long time) Someone send a telegraph to the webmaster and have him do this right now!

Goddamn, do you guys not understand?

You make a post, then you make another post. In order to prevent double-posting, both posts are merged together.

You mean if I post directly afterwards?

Well, that would be nice, but you can always edit. Not only that, but in big threads, would this double the post size? Triple it, even, for even larger threads?

I just don't see such great use to it that I can't get out of a simple edit or waiting.

I'll help, OP. Each quote is a separate post, for clarity's sake.

Hurr durr I am OP and I do not know how to explain myself.
I have a superiority complex attached to my blue bar.

That, above, is how the post formatting if you make two posts right after one another in a thread. OP is suggesting that same post, though being comprised of two separate posts, being merged to be like this:

Hurr durr I am OP and I do not know how to explain myself.

I have a superiority complex attached to my blue bar.

Not being mean, OP, just first things that came to mind. ;P

I'm either a fool or an inteligent man, depending on how sleepy or angry I am.

But then not only can I not bump but what if I'm hitting the character limit and it screws up my format?

  • 11.01.2012 3:53 PM PDT

Not a bad idea OP.

That is a good idea, but I think the possibility of verry annoying glitches is pretty high. Also you can already do it yourself.
When I post something and I want to answer someone, I mostly make one post about it. Sometimes I even quote more than one person and answer both of them at once. *cough* unless I want to bump a thread ofcourse *cough*

I dunno, include an option to not merge posts then.

I don't care enough to argue it, and I was only slightly drunk when I made this, so you'll just have to accept my idea as genius.

I expect to see it in the next update, or else I will send Achronos a very angry written letter.

Ah, I guess I read too quickly because I thought you meant threads. But with posts that's a good idea.

Break down, every single one of you.

Snow?

I really don't see the point in merging two of your own posts together. Just say everything you want to say in your first post.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

Hm, I actually like this idea.
