Subject: Do you expect a population drop?

I'm a stubborn guy. I love to argue my opinion, but unlike others, I'll try to see your side of the problem. I'm a triathlete, with a very heavy empephis on the swimming bit. Also, don't hate on the ~Quinton~ at the end of my posts. Why are you still reading this? #creeper #hashtagcashmoney for hashtaging on Bungie.net

Do you expect another population drop for the forums when Halo 4 releases?

I personally think that the population will stay pretty much the same. The people who are here, are in it for the long haul. I actually think some trolls might come onto the site and start saying stupid stuff.

No, I think the population hit an all time low when school started up again 2 months ago.

And boom goes the dynamite. In all seriousness, he's probably right. The people here can get everything we have at Waypoint. The fact they're here means they'll probably stay here.

Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

Кланяються мені!

I think if anything trolls will make the population increase. Not that I'm particularly expecting many.

Chapter

No, I think it will remain the same. But when Bungie announces/releases their next IP I expect there to be a lot more members.

Activity most likely will. But I doubt the population will.

That's pretty much how it is when a game releases, an influx of members join. So, this makes sense.

You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

No, Halo 4 has been announced a while ago. If they were going to leave because of Halo 4, they would of left already.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

This.
I expect a flood of people when Destiny is officially announced, and then another when it is released.

The path is dark...

No I don't expect a noticeable drop, but when Bungie's next ip is announced there will be a huge increase.Which will be good and bad because the forums won't be as slow, but i suspect the trolls will increase.

This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends;
Not with a bang but a whimper.

I think those of us who were going to leave Bungie for Halo 4 would have done so a while ago. I think we might see a dip in activity for a week or so, but then it will go back to normal, and by normal, I mean frighteningly desolate.

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

x0x 0x0 0x0 0xx 000 0x0 000
x0x x0x x00 0xx 0x0 x0x 0x0

I have seen you future

I think some people will take a short break to play the game, but that will only be for a few days, and will be offset by people who come here to talk about Halo 4.

Tag 'm and Bag 'm

This is as low as we go. And in early 2013 we will here more stuff about Destiny the population will grow again to amazing(TM) proportions.

  • 11.01.2012 3:49 PM PDT

Maybe, but isn't it at a all-time low currently?

  • 11.01.2012 3:51 PM PDT

Haters are going to hate.
Praisers are going to praise.

The Bungie Forums are what keeps my mind sharp and my fingers active, between writing my own movie scripts, drawing, and studying industrial design. At the moment I'm working on miniatures for a short movie that I'll hopefully be able to film once I've saved up for a camera... That's me, with the mug, trying to have a conversation with Konoko.

Hmm, don't know if people will leave... But, what I do think will happen however, is that the forums will explode with Halo 4 treads..

Truth is a matter of perception.

The Button

No, I expect it to increase. People will be talking about it like crazy in the Flood.

  • 11.01.2012 4:26 PM PDT

Actually I expect it to dramatically rise every time the Halo 4 server goes down. "BUNGIE WHY ARE THE SERVERS BROKEN?"

Hey I am a big Bungie fan ever since I played Halo 2. I love the series, I love Bungie. I have made a few Bungie logos in my metal shop.

Yes because with school and Halo 4 yes.
