No, unless it is a front-projection Tv. Which most aren't.

no it cant harm ur tv just try not to have a really big tv not for its advantage and i mean really big or it will stretch the game so its ugly i tryed that on like a 76 inch tv hehe it suked

itll only hurt if you leave it on for a long long period of time and the screen is paused in the same picture for that period of time, and it has to be a really crappy tv

Try going to your TV's menu and changing it to the right format. It makes a big difference. My friend and I play no his 70 and love it.. Its all in you settings.
