FLAME THROWER! The humans need an effective short range weapon. Maybe just put it in once or twice. Maybe instead of having a seperate human grenade launcher, the could have a grenade launcher attachment on the BR or AR. I really don't care about the Magnum Pistol thing. Just bring back one, make it stronger, and add the scope (maybe), and make it DW. They should also put in something like a carryable Hog chain gun or turret gun. Make the sniper rifle stronger! I shot a dude in the head the other day and he didn't die, it took two. Those are my base ideas, I'll probably have better ones later

Human Grenade Launcher and Flamethrower!!! Yes please!!

I agree with the portable turret idea. But since it's such a powerful gun, you won't be able to switch weapons (yes, you can throw grenades)...I think it would be hard to stuff a whole turret into a holster. You'd have to drop the turret to get back your two weapon holster.

There should also be a Human Grenade Launcher Mod for the BR/AR...like whenever you pick it up, you can just slap it onto the BR/AR and the right trigger can shoot bullets, the left can shoot grenades out. Or you can jam both triggers and recreate World War II in 30 seconds.

Plasma Brute Shot, or better known as the Covenant Plasma Grenade Launcher...to balance out the Human Grenade Launcher...

Maybe a Plasma Shot too, to balance out the Flamethrower..it just shoots out large hot globs of red plasma.


I don't know, I'm just throwing out some random ideas.

My Opinion about the CE Pistol is it sould only be powered down a little bit. I forget how many rounds the pistol has but sould only have 8 rounds in the magazine. It sould not have a scope and be black. It sould be a rare weapon, for every 3 Magnums there sould be one CE pistol.

As for the the Battle Rifle it sould be semi-auto, Burst, and also fully automatic. You sould be able to carry more ammunition.

The SMG soould be more accurate as well as the Assault Rifle.

You shouldn't be able to steal the fuel Rod cannon off of dead hunters.

The flame thrower needs to have a far bit of range to reach targets. it sould all sobe able to ingulf small rooms in flames, like in the beach sceen of Saving Private Ryan were the guy with the flamethrower clears out the bunker.

Battle Rifle - Keep same but give the ability to swtich from burst to semi-auto and vice versa in both scoped and unscoped fire.
Magnum - Keep it like it is from halo 2. The ultra fast semi-auto fire has always been a favorite of mine.
Sniper Rifle - Halo2 style strength but auto aim similar to that of halo1's sniper.
Shotgun - Halo1 style all the way, halo2's shotty is a bit too weak.
Rocket Launcher - The halo2 version but less auto aim (this has nothing to do with the vehicle tracking)
Smg - Better sound and possibly slightly stronger.
Pistol - Consider brining it back, then go "eh, nvm"

Basically, i love the covenant wepons the way they are in halo2, altough the needler needs its old tracking. And the Fuel Rod Gun must be available in MP and Campain.

Also to those saying "bring back the pistol but when dual weilding it no scope" or "bring pistol with scope, but no duel weilding" can you give a LOGICAL reason for this?
I doubt we'd go to our guys and say "we got this new weapon that is light and accurate enought that u can weild 2 at a time, but you arent allowed to use the scope cause it would be unfair for the enemy."

THE BR IS ALREADY SEMI-AUTO!

Here is the freaking definition for semiautomatic for those of you who don't know what it is.

sem·i·au·to·mat·ic
adj.
1. Partially automatic.
2. Ejecting a shell and loading the next round of ammunition automatically, but requiring a squeeze of the trigger for each shot.

Ah now that thats out fo the way, I'll say what I want to say. I don't want to see either the pistol or AR back without major updates. The pistol needs to be lowered in power and range but it can keeps its scope and accuracy. I.E. Make it stronger then a Magnum, but no where near the power of a BR. Only duel-wieldable if it forsakes some of its accuracy while doing it.

The AR should not be back unless it gets a power, and range boost. Thats about it on that.

Ehhh, the H1 pistol was waaayyy overpowered. Not sure if I want to see it back, but I loved it..but still. The BR is there, and I'd take the BR over the pistol, honestly.

Yes, the Battle Rifle as a whole is semiautomatic. Each pull of the trigger consists of 3 rounds shot automatically.

Second acct: RC Zerg Rushes

Okay boys and girls lets all sit down and be calm. I am sure we all have some good ideas (yes i said that just to make you feel better). First we do not need the pistol from Halo 1 back. The battle rifle is actually better because it has a faster and harder hitting melee attack. Second, the shotgun needs to be raised back to its former glory. Times were you could walk up to a veteran elite and splatter him across the wall behind him with 1-2 shells. Now it takes 3-4 shells and the poisonous icing on the cake...reduced extra ammo. Third the sword should be left alone. Those of you who complain about its charge in campaign or lack of in multiplayer listen up. Campaign: you use the sword until it has under 10 charge...then you give it to a fellow elite and watch him go on a pwning spree while you cover his back with his plasma rifle. Unless youre as good as i am with the sword you should do this (and i do it anyways, well armed allies are youre friends...try giving a marine a beam rifle...oh yeah). Multiplayer, sure it has unlimited charge but it also has no long range capability and everyone on the opposite team goes after YOU. Fourth...I am glad the assault rifle is making a comeback. That said LEAVE IT ALONE BUNGIE. It was perfect the way it was (reminisecs about shotgun and MA5B combo in the Library). Fifth...you know the covie ammo crates with weapons in them. You should be able to put energy weapons (those that run off charge) in it, come back a minute later and have a fully charged weapon. Sixth...i want d pad functionality...you know maybe some basic orders SWBF style. Seventh...specelized melee attacks. I want to be able to run up to the Jackal SOB whose overcharging his PP grab his hand, shove the pistol down his throat, and blow his head off (without the severed limbs). Eight...me want knife. Anyone here played Perfect Dark...remember the knife. It would kinda work the same way as the sword. Right trigger, stab, B, slash, Right trigger with lock on...throw. It could work as a fourth/fifth weapon.
Ninth...the ability to have three two handed weapons or four weapons counting a dual wielded pair. Think about it. MC and the Arbiter can flip 66 ton tanks but they cant carry more than 2 weapons. Doesn't make sense. Tenth...while these next suggestions are a little off topic they are still awesome. I want the arbiter to get back his old gold armour, maybe with a little lengthier active camo maybe 15-20 seconds. I also want the other spartans to make an appereance. I mean Kelly, Fred, Will and Linda are still alive. Thank you people for hearing me out.

In Halo 3 you should be able to sneak up behind Grunts and Master Chief will rip off they're breathing device thing. since Grunts breath methane you can just sit back and watch them sufficate while the Methane gas smask thing, in the hands of master chief, becomes a highly flammible grenade.

Another Ability-Weapon I thought about is being able to run up to a Ghost and rip off one of it's plasma cannons. NO DUAL WIELDING Ghost plasma cannons that would be retarded.
plus imagine how funny it would be on Xbox Live some dude is trying to kill another player, two of his allies pop up out of no where and simultaniously rip off the cannons turn, and blast the driver to Hell.

Dual-Wielding Swords. And since the single weapons go in the right hand you should be able to take Jackal's shields in the left hand. ( can only hold shield with Dual wield weapons, like Plasma Rifle or SMG. )

Halo 1 Pistol: little less power, slower rate of fire, less acurate id DWing and no scope( have you ever seen a pistol more powerful than a Assault Rifle? )
Assault Rifle: Full auto w/o scope, Semi-Auto w/ scope.
Halo 1 Plasma Rifle: No freezing effects, but same power
Fueal Rod: Same as Halo 1 fuel rod ( PC version ) just lower rate of fire
Halo 1 Shotgun ( PLEASE )
Halo 1 Sniper ( no leading shots and farther range) The Halo 2 sniper cant even reach the other base on blood gultch w/o leading like 2ft
Brute Shot: Lower splash damage
Halo 1 Plasma Pistol: could kill w/o charging up and had a dodgeable charged shot
Halo 1 Needler: Increase the speed but no homing
Sword: No lunge, include a battery like SP, instant death if struck by it.

they should put in the magnum exactly how it was in halo 2 excpet a little bit more powerful, and still dual weildable. they should also have the pistol from halo 1 in it in all its power, and have it dual weildable too, but have it very hard to find(perhaps single player only?) also some kind of bomb launcher to launch the bomb in assault games.

Pistol/Magnum Debate

Here are my opinions, feel free to flame at me if they're stupid...

If you guys want the H1 Pistol...--
I say, just take off the scope, lower the strength of the bullets, and make it dual-wieldable/

If you guys want the H2 Magnum...--
Just make the bullets stronger, or make it hold more bullets in the gun.


Jackal Shields + Dual Wielding
Yes, you should be able to steal Jackal Shields from dead Jackals. Yes, you should be able to dual-wield them with ONLY DUAL-WIELDABLE WEAPONS. The Jackal shield works on a battery that only drains when it is hit. But, it can recharge itself over time. Just hold the shield in your left hand, shoot with your right. Maybe we can put the D-Pad to use, but using like "Press Down on the D-Pad to take cover behind your shield". But, yeah, JSs should be stealable.

And for the Battle Rifle...yes, it is already semiautomatic. But what I think they mean is like the Machinegun in Quake 4, where you can choose between automatic, and semi-automatic...whereas the semiautomatic only shoots one shot. I think the BR should have it's 3-shot semiautomatic, and you may switch it to automatic.

Though....wouldn't be the BR be a little...erm, or should I say...WAY...too overpowered if it were automatic? If you ask me, it's murder and the push of a buttom. Automatic BR might be too powerful.
