You really expect me to plop down another $60 when you have always (since Halo 3 at least) allowed modders and lag switchers to ruin the game?

You really let us all down...just finished a game of Big Team Battlle where the entire enemy team was just lagging around tearing us up.

You've got your last dime from me ladies and germs. You make me sick.

There's always room for you, If you want to be my friend.

Problems with this post.

1. Playing BTB.
2. Assuming that all lag is caused by cheaters.
3. Being mad because bad.

This, actually. Lag switch will get you a nice (and very immediate) black screen while everyone else keeps playing, or a host change if you were host and tried it.

Modding can only get past Bungie's security if they broke Microsoft's security on the xbox to edit the RAM in real-time, as Reach not only has rsa checks on it's files to prevent modification, but it has a continuity check where even if you managed to break past that security, if your map has a different checksum than the one of someone you try to play with, it will kick you out of the game with a mismatch error. So...no, not 'You have always let' modders run free.

It's funny you mention the 'since halo 3 at least' bit, since that's completely backwards of reality. It was Halo 2 where they approved of modders, they would let you mod in custom games and ban you from matchmaking, or in the latter days, kick you out of mm in 10 seconds if you were modding but let you play if you were not (and still fine in customs).

bunngie dontt care, never did.

Tried to point out a common packet mod trick to one of bungies boys once, and he started ranting about how each packet was sequentially numbered - and that the game would shut down any player found to have packets missing or not in order.

Pointed out the udp nature of the beast ... that packet order, nor the delivery, was not guaranteed. Rather than admit the flaw in his 'its defended' arguement he continues.
Somethimes the fools, or their ego, rules the world.
