Just add the URL into the tags listed on the right.

XX

X - You put the link in there, (it has to have http:// -because the internet is stoopid)

XX - This is where you add something witty like "iEspell for future" and that's what it'll look like on display (hyperlink for short).

Cool! thanks. As you can see I took your advice.
Thanks for the help.

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

Just use the Google toolbar.

It gives you a built in spellcheck for IE or FireFox, and it lets you add buttons with links to site and with feeds built into the button.

I believe it was stosh that made buttons for B.net and for HBO. They are on his website, and they are really handy.

I can give links to a button I made for Major Nelson also if anyone wants one.

For those who are interested in a browser-based spell-check, I can recommend IEspell. It's saved me from more than a few embarrassing typos.

I had no clue mods ever had typos guess I was wrong :{}

most people wouldnt use it....but i would like it.

Screw using it, it should be mandatory! And should automatically fix such things as "b4" and "ne1" people who seriously type like that should be banned from the internet. Dont even start with those folks who prefer to TALK in internet-lingo in real life (Dooood, I was pawning sum nubs last nyte and I was like 'roflcopter')

 • 07.02.2006 11:19 PM PDT

I agree, It should be added. Perhaps as a button next to "quote" or something.

But sadly, that'll promote them to talk like that.

Despite the fact I am already perfect, this spell checker will prove just how perfect I am. Thanks for the link, this should be a member requirement.

ninjas Sticky this so every one can get the spell check and then finally we will be able to read other people's post clearly with no mistakes.

 • 07.03.2006 5:13 AM PDT

Thanks a million Recon. I'm not sure if anyone will know me anymore. Typos, bad spelling, and fingers the size of coke bottles is kind of my thing. Seriously dude, that is going to help me more places then here. A lot of times I'm rushed, but this is going to be quick and painless. Wow no spelling error found. Sweet. I'm going to need a new identity.

Seriously? But yeah, a spell checker would be VERY handy. But you've got to remember, this is a forum, not, well, a spell checker!

If I don't know if the word is correct or incorrect I just type it on google I don't want to waste time with a spell check button but it would be a cool new feature I must say.

The way I see it, anyone bothered to download a spell checker doesn't really need it.

I use the one in Sleepystephen's sig and it works great. All I have to do is right click and select spell check. It catches the the little mistakes that are easy to miss when you are in a hurry.

Trust me, everyone needs a spell checker. Uh, except me.

 • 07.03.2006 8:19 PM PDT

Skillet was here and referred to himself in the third person.

I need a spell checker...for the simple reason of annoying typos that could easily be avoided if I paid more attention to what I type! like leaving the "e" out of becaus...yeah...like that.

Is it also Jumper mentality that causes me to not know how to work this checker?

Bugger it, I will just use Microsoft Word like before.

Jumper mentality would be to blame Windows for not letting the checker work and switch to Linux.

True but if it was a feature of bungie.net then perhaps more people would use it.

*looks at the halo 3 forum*

on second thoughts............

Well this is what i'm saying. If it was a built in feature on here, then i'm sure people would use it. I guess teh spamorz wouldn't but it would then make it easier to spot them.
