though a little of topic how the hell did star wars get to where it is today when it was so fricken op with things like sunchrushers or whatever that can make stars go supernova and survive?

what happened to the guy who could destroy a planet using force, why do we have these weak guys leading it now?

Ascended fans became authors.

Really, this is why I prefer the EU that's in the Old Republic stuff. It's so much better than the crap that's post ROTJ. The only good thing that's flawless from the post ROTJ is the Thrawn Trilogy. The fact that Palpatine 'transfered' his soul into a clone despite being dead for numerous years is a hard swallow, even with Space Magic(tm). He shoulda been absorbed by Chaos.

Star wars has ships that could solo the flood.

Warhammer 40k is easily one of the most powerful universes ever made while we're on that subject.

They have the C'tan which are an entire race of omnipotents.

Then we have the Necrons who killed the C'tan. Therefore the Necrons are stronger than entire races of omnipotents.

Doctor Who my friend. The Time Lords were going to destroy time itself and become more than omnipotent before the Doctor killed them.

Also, the -blam!- are you on? The C'tan are very much alive, the Necrons didn't kill them, they're the servants of the C'tan. The Dragon in Mars is very much alive, as is the Reaper and the third guy who I forget.

But Orks just need a chieftain to label a crowbar the "C'tan Beat Stick" and they could solo reality. Gotta love the WAAAGH Ork powers.

Hey, uh, if you like vs threads, then check out this little group right here, if you have the time. It's pretty fun, just hop right in.

Simon laughs as Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann crushes the multiple galaxies the Haloverse and SWverse are fighting in, killing everything in them.

I'll also point this out. The Empire uses Spaarti Cloning Chambers after Kamino rebelled. While -blam!-ier than Kamino clones, a Spaarti clone can mature in less than a week. I forget the exact amount of pods the Empire had, but in a time of war, they could probably raise billions of clones, while the CIS likely has quintillions of droids.

Yes, I realized the my wording was incorrect, they merely shattered, not destroyed.

Chotato

dear god why do they feel the need to make everything so over powered.

And any explanation of how those nations fell when they were couldn't be destroyed?

They're still nothing compared to the Chaos Gods though, or the Emperor if upon death he ascends to Godhood. He'd then personally solo the enemies of man in the name of man.

I still don't understand how something can be more powerful than a being that is all powerful, but hey, who cares?

Specifically, C'Tan have complete dominance over reality. Chaos says 'Lol reality' and laughs rainbows out of their ears. The Warp has always been the C'Tan's kryptonite.

Actually, the specific entry for C'tan said they were once omnipotent before the fall.

It's odd.

Basically the Thrawn method. They could raise an army in the quintillions in about 6 days time with all the experience and strength of a full grown Clone trooper. Incredible what they can do. Imagine the sheer mass of flesh that is. So many humans.

To add some sort of truth to physics, you can't truly destroy an entire galaxy as a supermassive black hole at the center of most, if not all galaxies, is the ultimate force of nature.

Star wars and physics in the same sentence shouldn't even occur.

Both at their most powerful points? Halo. Easily.

precusor stuff is indestructible to everything expect halo rings. don''t believe it, read Halo:Cryptum
I really need to catch up on the books. Last one I read was The Cole Protocol.

this got a little off topic. precursors are, like celsteials for star wars, the gods of halo. you can't just will them to die. plus they have at least several galaxies under their control, way more than star wars.
