Ohai, I'm Loscocco (pronounced Loss-cocoa). I'm a college student (computer science major), 3D animator, and long-time Halo player.

Reach had it's flaws. The community is the problem with Reach. Everyone complaining about it. I'm not saying it's the greatest Halo of all time but it can be fun when you play with friends and just mess around.
This.
The community self destructed their own franchise via the forums. It was ridiculous. When 343 came in and changed a lot of the settings, all that did was make even more people not play it anymore.
The majority enjoyed Reach for what it was, but a small percentage cried their eyes out to the devs because Reach wasn't a carbon copy of a 10 year old predecessor and the devs caved in to most of the pathetic salty tears which literally broke the gameplay of Reach. A new gameplay format would work, but for a different game. The original gameplay for Reach was designed for Reach. Trying to implement a gameplay from anther game was stupid.
When the game sells 3 billion copies and its population is reduced to a ridiculously small number within 2 weeks, there is probably something wrong with the game...
When the game's total population after a year is almost beat by its 5 year old predecessor, which doesn't receive updates and attention by devs, there is probably something wrong with the game...
When a large mass of people complain about some specific detail and the only counterarguments/justifications for those details are some irrelevant dribble spewed out from stupid people, there's probably something wrong with the community/game...
