Is there any way to trick the game into using a larger one? 60 degrees is incredibly uncomfortable playing on a monitor.

No, but raising your sensitivity could help.
Posted by: GabkochXNo, but raising your sensitivity could help.I play on 8, most I can handle without screwing up a lot. Seeing people isn't a huge issue, it's just it looks and feels very unnatural and makes CQC awkward.
Rain, and Jazz. Halo: Tactical I'm either a fool or an inteligent man, depending on how sleepy or angry I am. I originaly made an account on 07.27.2007 but I wanted to link my GT and made this account. Don't forget your passwords!
Aside from doing some haxin', I don't think you will have much luck. Has getting a bit farther away from the monitor been any help?
I run Skirmish!!!

I play on a 21.5 in monitor. I don't have any problem with the viewing angle unless I sit abnormally close. I actually prefer a monitor to a TV any day. It provides a much better and more responsive experience than most hdtvs
