At the moment im pretty much only playin halo with a mate or a couple of mates at a time, on blood gulch and we play sniper only no shield, until today i played as a white mc until i actualy put the effort in to change my colour and i played around in teal (worked well in grass), red, and brown (works against cliffs, and in the dark), and eventualy settled for the brown as ugly as that is, but is there anyone with advice for what colour i should go for, (not black or yellow, those are the colours my friends use), and any ideas for general tactics for this gametpe?

I play in pink all the time. That way you get spotted really easily and you get better because of the challenge.

Black works best at blue base, because everywhere there are shadow's.

Orange is the best on Red base, for you are going to blend in the cliffs. So if you are playing on blue team, be orange, unless you are defeinsive, and visa versa.

I should know. I was hosting a game of Classic Slayer Pro on Battle Creek on Custom Edition, and he joined my game, and I three-shotted his pink self.

Make sure to hide in shadows and along canyon walls. Darker colors work better. The cave entrance by Red base is a good place to camp, it affords a lot of protection. If you get in trouble, you can fall back into the caves and exit out the other side. The only drawback is that it can only see about 60 of the map.

Try not to move too much when looking for targets, this makes you easier to see. After shooting your SR, book it! People will look in the direction of your SR traces to find you.

Lastly, stay away from the middle. I don't care if the invis is there. Everyone always looks to a base first, then the middle, then the other base.

I like to go Pink, and I camp in the middle of the map. Nobody ever looks there.

Yea, I go in the middle of the map too. I like to use sage for my armor color because it doesn't stick out too much but it still looks pretty cool.

Yeah I usually use sage because its the master cheifs original colour in slayer, but in sniper match, I use orange and go up to that sniper post by the red base to the left, excellent camoflouge because of the cliff colouring.

I wish there was a colour that told the enemy where you were AT ALL TIMES....That way, you could make like a Grunt...

But to fix your problem. Go with brown. Works best in rocks, cliff faces. etc. Just stick to the sides of the map.

I am always black because I can blend into the shadows. I have won many firefights because of this. Since your friend has black then my next choice would be brown.

Sage, is the best camo color type.
