The Flamethrower

Multiple versions of the Warthog (as seen prior to H2s release)

A Sprint feature (put guns away b/c your sprinting, see you arms moving in First Person. This feature was rumored to be in H2 prior to it's release)
the edges of your screen should go blurry during sprinting

The return of the "Night Vision on the Sniper Rifle" (Bungie could make a few dark areas or maps w/ such areas, so the night-vision would be useful again.)

The Flashlight makes it return to MP ( Picture a night map, w/ dark bases. The Flashlight would thus be needed again.)



i like these ideas. although....

the flame thrower should explode if the tank is shot by sniper,

you should be able to run exremely fast(at least 3 times faster than normal) but that might compromise ctf, oddball, and other games like that,

night vision would be awsome , along with the arrival of heat vision beacuse this IS the future, is it not?

i dont know about the flash light so much as the night vision(greenish for humans and purpleish for elites) plus during night levels someone who has the sniper could just camp in a dark corner of the map and shoot all the flashlights running around (flashlights are on the helmet as well as on some of the guns)

if the flashlights are to be used in night levels, then they should not be able to be turned off for the the sniper/camping/hiding/ambush reason

I think the ATV is definitely coming. Needed to counteract the Ghost. I also agree that the flame thrower is an absolutely useless weapon. Wouldn't just one grenade nearby or one well placed shot with any weapon be instant death? Plus, someone would have to just stand there and let you light them up with it to get any kills.

naw in halo:ce if ur as close as about a foot in front of them it only takes about a sec. for them to die

The Halo 1 pistol was unbalanced or should I say way to easy to use and to powerful so thats most likely not going to be added back the target identifier would make snipeing to easy and sprinting wouldn't work with the gameplay it would slow stuff down and thats ll I have to say.

How about the "Old," Covie Dropships from H1 (the ones thats looked like flying magnets)???

BTW to the person that said, "Bungie removed those features from H2 for a reason."
I gotta disagree w/ you on that one. I do not like to make others look bad, but can you say "Spectre???" It was in Halo 1, but then removed. Guess what? They put it back into use for H2.

Here's the thing. If they devoted time to sketch, model, anim8te, ect to get something into a game, then that means that they truly wanted (or thought they wanted) it to be in the game. An example of this would be the Flamethrower. It was in Halo 1 & Halo 2. Fully modeled, & detailed(Then later removed). Let's not forget Halo PC either, as the Flamethrower was actually in the retail version. Other things that I mentioned were "in," past Bungie games (Halo 1 included) so it's feasible & logical to say that the Old pistol may be back for H3. Read above too. I mentioned that the Old Dropship could make a return. Heres how I look @ it. Halo 3 is gonna be the last Halo game. You cannot have the Alpha & Omega of Halo (which is H3), without having all things Halo in it. Why do you think the AR is back?
Bungie is getting nostalgic w/ H3. So I can "Assume," this.

Oh, I almost forgot. The Flood Juggernaut. It was fully completed in H2, minus actual A.I.

Halo's pistol needs to come back, I know people think its "overpowered" and all, but at least put in the zoom and tone it down just a tad.

I moved to just a Sniper Rifle when playing Multiplayer on Halo 2, hehe

Read the old Game Informer Issue from 04' w/ MC on the front, if you wanna see what the old Burial Mounds use to look like. The concept for the map may be on this site too. BTW if you wann see/read/look at stuff from Halo for yourself, do a google image search, or go to wikipedia.( If that doesn't work for you, then just stick to Bungie.net for articles, pics, ect)
There are many other good sites too. There are links to them on this site.

Oh, I almost forgot. In the Making of the H3 Trailer, those guns that the Brute looking guys are holding seem to be cross-bow type weapons w/ a mounted scope. At least that's what I saw.....or did I???-Peace

I have been racking my brain for things I might of forgot about. Here's a short list of minor things I forgot to mention:

The Gametype: HeadHunters. This gametypes' logo was the shrunken(sp) head symbol. It's description was something like the following: Recover your opponents head(s) & return them to your base. This Gametype was in H2 prior to it's release. Could it make a return to H3? (I'll try to find the link to the pic)

Old Gametypes, such as Race & Hunter. Hunter (I think that was it's name) gave the player(s) a target. Once you killed your given target, you were awarded a point & given a new target to kill.

In Halo 1 you could have "16 Oddballs," in a single game!!! ( Will we see 16 balls in H3?)

More destructable enviroments. The engine(the Halo 2 game engine/not graphics engine) that H3 is using allows for destructable enviroments. Here's an idea: Imagine playing Sidewinder, & you shoot a rocket @ the frozen pond, which causes your opponents Warthog to fall into said pond.

Could we see some MMO type battles? I.E. 60 player skirmishes? it can be done like in battlefield and other games, why not a giant halo bananza!

***Note: I tended not to ever use the Halo 1 "Metal Pistol Of Uber Doom" (as we keyed it) bc it was just too overpowered. It wasnt ever fun, so we all agreed never to use it again...but some jackass is bound to pull one out....kinda like nuclear warfare

You know why they are not going to do a 60 player game like in Battle field? Think hard ....... Because its HALO not Battle field at most there will only be like a 24 to 32 player matches more than that would make the game so retarded!

Along with all of that Halo 3 is in desperate need of some very advanced AI bots, they could make the game infinatly better for those without access to XBL
