Its actually a large transport used by the Sentinel machinery that oversees the Quarantine Zone. The Flood manage to take it down, and thats when you see it going up in flames and crashing off in the distance.

Some resourceful folks over at High Impact Halo actually managed to find their way to where the ship lands, I believe.

It's a sentinel construction facility. You fight through it later in Quarantine Zone. I'm more interested in what brought it down. It just explodes and then crashes. And what happened to the other one...

Flood controlled Wraiths and Scorpions most likely. You can see the Plasma from the Wraith fire on it.

Except that the Plasma Mortars from the Wraiths don't even come close to hitting it.

The Flood dont have eyes. I imagine that gives them very bad aim.

It's the sentinel factory. It looks a bit like the autumn. It crashes and you go through it in Q-Zone.

well, the structure in quarantine zone, where you walk into it, is that crashed facility from 'oracle', but if there is one in the distance, i haven't noticed it.

I'm telling you, it's the sentinel factory. The structure from The Arbiter and Oracle was hanging over Threshold, not Delta Halo. You can actually see the factory crash if you look in the right place.
