Subject: I'm getting ads on bungie.net.

Certains words in my posts are highlighted and when I ove my mouse over them, a drop down ad appears advertising paper clips or overstock ipads. In fact, right now there is a highlighted word in the "Bungie is no longer managing the halo universe." notice advertising workfromhome.com.

Is this a script on my browser or did bungie decide to start advertising other companies?

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

It's probably a program that was installed on your computer through downloading something, OP. If you want to get rid of it, look for a recently installed program that you don't remember installing (it might be a program called coupon helper) and uninstall it.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

You might have picked up some adware. Get onto your antivirus and find that bugger!

True. OP, if you are unsure what to use, I would recommend Avast and Malwarebytes.

"If only, if only,"
The woodpecker sighs,
"The bark on the trees was as soft as the skies."
While the wolf waits below, hungry and lonely;
Crying to the moon,
"If only, if only."

For those who wish to contact me on Xbox LIVE, my main account is "The 7th Taco", and the one linked with my profile here is only a backup.

Wouldn't OP have to actually download that manually? Like, actually knew what it was? If it's doing this and OP doesn't know why, then it's more likely to be a virus, correct?

Do add-ons add-on themselves?

Sounds like to me that you have an adware issue on your computer. I strongly recommended you to get a anti-virus or anti-malware removal.

Also please verify this by open this website in another web browser with all plugin/addon disabled.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

It sounds like something you could uninstall.

Check your extensions for something you didn't install. You have text enhance which will install on your browser without you knowing about it. Remove it and restart your browser and it should be gone. Also clear your cookies.
