Here is a spoiler right now...

I'm pretty sure most have noticed that the Arbiter wasn't in Halo 4. I would not see a reason as to why he would be though. Since the elites (spoiler again) are against the humans again in Halo 4, would the Arbiter be against humans now too? Does anyone know the current whereabouts of the Arbiter? Or does anyone think he'll make another appearance? I really have no idea. I'm not too great at the Halo story, but I just thought about this one. Thanks (if you add to the discussion) :).

FYI, I searched this and a few other terms...

I really hope 343 don't neglect the Arbiter as a character since he is truly a centre piece to the series.

If you read Halo Thursday war that is really one way to figure out where he is, but I'm not sure if any of the terminals in Halo 4 Mention him. Does anybody know that?

Nope.

(Spoiler!) They're all about the Didact and Librarian.

I think, in the same way Halo 4 starts with your ship crashing into a mysterious alien structure as with CE, Halo 5 will begin with us on a major known planet - in Halo 2 this was Earth, and I think in Halo 5 it'll be Sanghelios.

Why? A UNSC/Sangheili-atheist invasion in an attempt to kill Jul 'Mdama if it's completely overtaken by the Storm (or Neo-Covenant, whatever,) as alluded to by Spartan Ops' implication that ex-Covenant species are having to seek asylum on Earth - probably those who disagree with the extremist nature of 'Mdama's movement. It's going to happen; they've kept to themselves at Requiem for many years, but after the New Phoenix incident seem to be directly attacking humanity - a Sangheili terrorist nearly blowing up Rio with a HAVOK nuke, for example. It might not be Sanghelios, but either way the campaign's going to start with us taking down the Storm.

If it happens, I imagine Thel will be right at our side. I'd say we should play as him again, but I think his character arc is over and it was finished beautifully - from indoctrinated slave to the liberator of his people, symbolised by the energy sword he stabbed the tyrant who lied to them with.

If we do get a Sangheili campaign in Halo 5, it needs to be from Jul's perspective. I love his character to bits and really want to see his redemption - he needs to be the one to truly kill the Didact.

Hopefully, 343 will make him the embodiment of the CE Zealot in the next games.

And they had better not kill him off in a novel or side story.

I really damn hope so. The aesthetics on that planet supersede Requiem IMO.

It'd make sense for the Storm to end in this game. Truth planned out or anticipated much of the events of Halo 2, forcing us to hunt him down in another game. Elites aren't going to do that if they're pressured (and we all know that Jul is under a lot of it: death of his loved ones and discovery of his gods and their utilities). They're going to stand and fight.

Yes please, I want to play as an Elite again. Hopefully this time, with better equipment (Halo 3 style Cloaking but using it in a vehicle should not alert the enemies) and new ones (i.e. Sangheili point defense gauntlet that lets you use a sword or gun with it).

Easter Egg Hunter. Apprentice Tricker/Glitcher (learning from Grumpy and Sliding Ghost).

Trying to get Waypoint to update Halo 3 stats in detail like here. Now no one can see that my Halo 3 Spartan no longer looks like my Reach Spartan.

Really want to be a Heroic member or have a title. :/

I never really like Jul, but the idea of his redemption sounds appealing.

Ghost, who would you rather play as? Would you really toss the Arbiter aside just to play as an elite again?
