I really need some help, and please be serious with your replies.
There is a girl that I have known and been friends with since the 3rd grade. I've had a crush on her sinde the 7th grade. I'm in the 10th grade now, we go to different schools and I only see her once every 3 months (if I'm lucky) so I don't even know if she already has a boyfriend or not. And worst of all, I'm too much of a coward to tell her how I fell (and yet I'm typing this for millions to see...)! I you have any ideas on what I should do please let me know, and again, be serious with your replies.

Alright. For starters, just think... what's the worst thing that could possibly happen? When you've been friends with somebody for a long time, they probably won't try to embarrass you. Just ask her, "hey, you got a boyfriend yet?" (or something casual). Shouldn't be too hard.

Ask her to marry you then tell her to make you supper on the double that might help.........you get kneed in the balls. MuWhahahahahahahahaha!!!

Officium quod Fidelitas.

More or less thousands. But hey, go with what Gimli said, I mean what is the worst that could happen? You ask her out and she says no. Whopie, life goes on and you wouldn't have to face her for three or so months.

Did I forget to mention that I have a fear of rejection?

ok, so you only see her once every three months, well i got rejected by a girl i see every week, by a girl i saw every day at the time, and by a girl who i see every day now. if you still think you've got problems, just tell me your address, and i'll give you problems. you dont have any right to be nervous until you've been punched in the stomach at a formal dance by the girl youve been trying to go out with... in front of your best friends. until that happens, you should keep it cool, and dont dare complain about fear of rejection

lol. That's pretty hardcore, but the thing is with those weird fears is that the stay there til you face them, or learn the hard way. When I was in the Phillipenes, I was afraid of bugs, so I refused to hit a colony of vicious flesh eating ants with the spray for my uncle. so they attacked me later, ate off a whackload of Gimli-foot, and I got over it. Once the pain was gone. What I'm saying in a drawn-put way is to just go for it. my dad always says, "It's better first than better." If you don't ask her out and get a relationship started, someone else will. If you get rejected, deal with it and try again in 3 months. lol.

Do you have a job?

A car?

Would you be able to call her up and ask, "Want to get some coffee sometime?" or "Want to go to lunch some time?" and actually be able to do it without any parental assistance?

If so, do it. If you dont' have a job, don't have a car, don't bother. Highschool relationships are an immense waste of time and rely on both persons going to the same school. Don't do anything dumb like ask, "Want to be boyfriend and girlfriend?" Just ask her if she wants to go grab a bite to eat with you sometime - if asked, just say it's to catch up. If things go well suggest you should do it again sometime. If she doesn't say she has a boyfriend during conversation, her response to this question should answer it for you.

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

Ok. For starters, ask someone whos already got a gf! Not a bunch of Halo Fanatics. Second of all, you just gotta go for these things. If she says no, guess what. You'll live. I mean if you really like her in the first place as much as you say you do, then I think you would have done this already. Then again, I can see it your way. If you ask and she says no, then youve severed all natural conversation with her. Whatever. If she has said anything that would remotly make you think that she likes you, then go for it.

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

To tell you the truth, girls have cooties. The cootie is a cell that randomly sends messages to the brain to go shopping, or just talk. And talk. And talk.

(Note from the writer: Girls that can kick my ass don't have cooties.)

I think you're making a big deal about this. I can assure you that unless you're a stud being this... "needy"... won't be reciprocated well. Unless you are truly more casual about it, don't expect much out of it.

At least those are my feelings. I never really had to force myself into a situation where I was uncomfortable asking a woman out. I was always pretty comfortable with it. I think in order to do well with this relationship, ask her out with a more friendly mind-set. Honestly become interested in how she's been. If you can (just 'telling' yourself it won't help), then things will go much easier.

When barbecuing veggie burgers, be sure to tie your long hair back. That will keep it away from the flames, you stupid hippie.
