We should know better, because we are better.

He better return.

Hopefully he'll be back; Johnson's gone, Cortana's gone and Halsey's under arrest. John needs all the friends he can get.

Wake me when the jews are gone.

I'd call it a friendship, there's a silent evolution of their relationship as the game progresses. Things like the bit at the end of Halo 3 where the Warthog launches into the Dawn's hangar and the very first thing John does is check to see if Thel is okay. Subtle things like that really reflected the idea that there was a sort of 'silent friendship' between them.

Haters are going to hate.
Praisers are going to praise.

The Bungie Forums are what keeps my mind sharp and my fingers active, between writing my own movie scripts, drawing, and studying industrial design. At the moment I'm working on miniatures for a short movie that I'll hopefully be able to film once I've saved up for a camera... That's me, with the mug, trying to have a conversation with Konoko.

Definitely! I'd almost forgive 343i for all their missteps if I got to see their silhouettes again. More action-adventure, less warfare-action!

Since Bungie never got to use this scene, I think it'd be a perfect opportunity/homage to have Thel and/or Rtas to be reintroduced in such a effective way. Accompanied by an epic one-liner of course.

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

They should also reboot his armor like they did to Chief's.

Supreme Dictator, Industrial Polluter, Megalomaniac, Corrupt Politician, Underhanded Reprobate, Rainforest Ravager, Puppy Kicker, Oil Spill Coordinator, Holiday Hater, and an Insurance Salesman.

Having Keith David in your video game is NEVER a bad idea.

Minimal Casualties, Maximum Effectiveness.

The arbiter returns in Bungies new game lol if only

Not to mention Thel goes into the thick of the Flood infested High Charity to save John.

If you're passionate about the thing you're talking about, I'll always lend an ear.

Halo 3 built a bromance. Arby and the Chief.

Sounds about right. I was less-than-pleased when I found out that he wasn't going to have a cameo in Halo 4.

  • 11.17.2012 4:15 PM PDT

I can see it. The Reclaimer Trilogy is supposed to be a three-act story; perhaps we'll start Halo 5 fighting the Brutes with Arby only to have the set-up for Halo 6 (more Forerunners/Flood) occur halfway through.

YES. As a semi-invincible NPC (a la Halo 3) who uses his camo intelligently (not scripted, not permanent, cloaking in and out at will), pulls out a sword intelligently (not pulling it out when his shield is lowered), berserks, has jumping capability (a la Knight Battlewagon, Brute Chieftain, CE Zealot), and has the Knight's Teleport AA (for combat purposes and as a replacement for his cloaking teleport in Halo 3). And he simply must have his flashlight.

I don't give a flying -blam!- if he'd be freaking overpowered (he likely wouldn't be due to his berserking and if he had low health like the current Elites), he'd be so -blam!- badass to fight alongside. And clone.

This Elite came really close to being the best Elite (he cloaks in and out unlike the Zealots, he jumps at you in certain circumstances, he switches between his sword and storm rifle). I'd like to see Arby supersede him, perfect what he erred in.

As for canon, if he turns into a bastard due to Kilo 5's heresy, I will kill him myself.

Easter Egg Hunter. Apprentice Tricker/Glitcher (learning from Grumpy and Sliding Ghost).

Trying to get Waypoint to update Halo 3 stats in detail like here. Now no one can see that my Halo 3 Spartan no longer looks like my Reach Spartan.

Really want to be a Heroic member or have a title. :/

If Karen Traviss has Kilo 5 harden the Arbiter, I'll "talk" with Karen Traviss myself. One does not simply kill off a loved, main, and well-developed character. If Kilo 5 make the Arbiter bad, I'll invent a time machine and travel to the future so I can sue ONI.

Hey, uh, if you like vs threads, then check out this little group right here, if you have the time. It's pretty fun, just hop right in.

I think John should get killed off and replaced by Thel. He's a much more interesting protagonist.

Per Audacia Ad Astra

He's like the Covy's Chief. I'd like to see him return.

Rain, and Jazz.
Halo: Tactical

I'm either a fool or an inteligent man, depending on how sleepy or angry I am.

I originaly made an account on 07.27.2007 but I wanted to link my GT and made this account. Don't forget your passwords!

Dang it, I accidentaly voted spin off instead of no.

I mean come on now, guys. He's going to look either like crap or be a bad guy in some way. I'd rather not hear about how 343i screwed over the Arbiter too.

  • 11.18.2012 4:39 AM PDT

I want him in Halo 5. It would make Co-Op make sense again...

  • 11.19.2012 4:39 AM PDT

Ad Infinitum

I love the Arbiter. His voice actor is all kinds of sexy. Also, Co-cop that makes sense.

When I saw the Chief and the Arbiter nod at each other during the end of Halo 3, I knew that they had become friends.

  • 11.19.2012 4:05 PM PDT

hmm

-blam!- yes. I hate how you if you play coop campaign, you just play as several identical Chiefs. Atleast in Reach you could customize your armor and it'd show in campaign. Bringing back the Arbiter would be awesome
