Note: I'm English, colour is how it's spelt for me, spell it how you like.

I think that instead of using set colours an RGB bar would be good because then people could get the exact colour they want, and bungie spend less time inserting multiple variants of colour.

There's the obvious point of having black armor, they could make it just like the Xbox 360 blade colour RGB levels, where they don't go below a certain value, which stops total black from being used.

I think it's an easy, and very effective solution, which would also make for a lot more variety for player colour.

Any additions, or comments?

i want preset colors. if bungie decides to add a custom color option, make it an extra feature, dont replace preset colors.

sage/cobalt ftw!

Modifiable presets maybe? Select a colour then fine tune?

You would have to have preset also, for lazy people. And you would need saturation, shiny-ness, brightness, etc.

It would be a good idea, but people would still want the preset colours also.

If you're English then you spelled Armor wrong. It's Armour for British.

I'm American and even I know that.

Or I think so anyway...

PReset and custom, Custom takes more time but you get exactaly what you want.

Have 5 color bars, one Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Brown, and black. Those are needed to have diffrent color variations. Like get some red and all yellow for a yellowish red or something.

I like that idea, but i think also that you should be able to make your different parts of your armor into different colors. oh and some guy said something about camo paints and stuff, i kinda like that idea too.

Fans of Mechassault 2 will know what I am talking about aswell.

Visual pigment style isn't my thing. I'm not the greatest with science and so the Blue/Red/Green colour system always confused me.

I say they do something their Microsoft Makers would like. They should use the custom colour palettes on those programs of Office. The ones that have the big screen of colours going from left to right, and then shades and tints going up and down. And there's a meter next to it that decides how dark the tints and shades of that colour coding are. That would be easier for people to understand, and it would be virtually any colour in the known spectrum. But of course, the darkest shades (near-black and absolute black) would be taken out.

I don't like the idea. I'd never be able to get my colors the right way if they were ever messed up or when I make my profile on a different 360

I suggested this same thing just the other day. Players should be given a preset list of color swatches that they can pick from, like in the past.

However, I also think that an RGB slider or two for mixing armor schemes would be the best option. I've always had some of those color schemes in Halo 2 that I couldn't get, just because that certain special color was right in the middle of two others.. If it can't come down to a color slider, every solid color in the list should at least have three different variants in hue to it.

I Think it should be taken a step farther, My personal fave game for color scheming was Armored Core for PSone, It had RGB sliders, textures and the ability to color different sections differently.

(10:19:49 PM) Scruss: oh and pezza, i saw what you did to that cat
(10:20:17 PM) Pezza: You were the one with the video camera breathing heavily. Of course you saw.

I like the idea. There would be a lot of variety on Live if they had this.
