Subject: The 10 things I want in Bungie.next

There was a feather in the chicken. It wasn't even a white feather, it was a black feather.

Ignore feature. Sure would be handy right about now...

Actually it shows how completely pointless the ignore feature would be. Because it would make it so new members/members who you don't have the same opinions with would just get ignored. By new members I mean ones who start off kind of immature but as time goes they become more mature on the website. It would put them on a disadvantage that most other members never had to go through.

That's their own problem, not mine. And they wouldn't be universally ignored, there's alot of people on this site.

No but doing so could make possible great friendship never happen. People just view it as a ignore button where you just ignore members you don't like but pushing the button could have a down fall. Like what if the member you ignored would become one of your best friends? YOu would meet him at Pax and at pax you were attacked. But he was there to save your life, if you had ignored him he wouldn't have been there.

You would have been screwed. Though, it is a completely ridiculous example it does show one of the many possible out comes of negative repercussions.

I think I can live without making new friends here. I'll still use the hell out of that feature if it gets implemented.

1. Friends list.

2. Friends feed of their most recent posts in one page.

3. Groups friend is part of on their feed. If part of the same group then the feed adds private group posts to recent feeds in a different section or highlight.

4. Maybe image embedding, set size/filters as appropriate.

5. Content tagging for search reasons, similar to fileshare tagging but for threads too.

6. Locked threads to go to the back of threads.

7. Members can rate a thread or post so they appear higher or auto sticky etc.

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

I like these ideas, OP. With the extra information gleaned about users from these added features (and perhaps some clever location/other website usage tracking), Bungie could also have targeted advertising and make some extra cash. Extra cash = better games, and I think we can all agree that this can only be a good thing.

I want a machine sent out to every user, and this machine gives the user a shot of whiskey every time Foman posts. Let me tell you right now, it helps a LOT after a couple of his posts.

The way I see it, Bungie.next should have a two-drink minimum. Require a breathalyzer every time we log on.

I think that thsi would dwseverly increased the cwquality of the postings on this website forum iand stuff
