I personally think they shouldn't release another trailer, but concentrate all their effort on actually making the game, and then release a new trailer or screenshot whenever THEY feel they are happy to. That way, they can then say, "Yes, this will be in the final game." Maybe they will show us something at XO6 or E32007, like a trailer, or possibly a demo of Halo 3 in-game, but I don't think they'll show in-game, if at all, 'til E32007. They might show us in-game footage at XO, maybe not with a HUD, like Halo 2 was, but something similar.
Though I like the way it is at the moment through the Weekly Updates, and to tell you the truth, I think we've received more information than we maybe have with the likes of Gears of War. I think they've spoiled us a little(and I don't mean that in a bad way) with the documentry of the making of the Halo 3 trailer, and some of the game itself. I can understand them being very secret about the game after things got cut out of Halo 2 and people got annoyed. But I also think their secretness is so they don't reveal anything plot-wise, though I think they already have when Frankie mentioned being cornered by some Grunts in the Weekly Update. But those could be the "Heretic" grunts the Arbiter(if in the game) is fighting, we just don't know, could be the Chief. But I like that, having to, sort of think to yourself, "Hmmm, wonder what that means," "What did he mean by that?"
At the end of the day it's all speculation, though speculation can lead to some great ideas, though sometimes people don't even realise it.
