I think they should be banned from halo3. It seems a bit stupid and pointless unbanning people who have cheated even if the Xbox 360 is "unhackable".

I agree totally. they shouldn't give em another chance. once a cheat, always a cheat. Once banned, always banned. simple

Exactly, they knew the consequences of cheating in Halo 2, so make them suffer for it by not letting them play Halo 3

360's as of now cant be modded, also Halo 3 prolly wont use the host jump system that Halo 2 had.

I kinda liked that system. It made it so to groups of friends chould get to one another's parties easly and that the person with the best connection was the one hosting most of the time.

They probably will use the same system, since it works great. :)

And getting "host" doesn't really make a difference..

i haven't heard anything really about what will happen to the people who were banned.

i think those who were banned for modding may get a second chance because the 360 is "un-moddable", but those who were banned for stand-bying and what-not should not be allowed back.

Just wait, the Modder community just needs time befor they get by it. They always do.

hopefully not, but i guess that's possible. but didn't some professional hacker spend a really long time on the 360 only to get it to play a copied disc of PGR3? well, i guess it only takes one person to find out how to hack it, and then he'll tell others how to do it.

maybe microsoft can send out an update to the 360 where it won't even turn on if it has modded content.

Well the only mod I've hear so far was where they hacked some XBL arcade game to get all the acivments. Nothing major but these "under groud" communitys are makeing progress. Also with downloadable maps for PDZ and CoD2, we chould see a return of the soft-mod.

One thing thow is that there was a Xbox1 modder(s) who created a program that chould be put onto the Xbox's hard drive to make modding easyer it let you Manage mods, and install all ready made mods. This made it so many people who should of NEVER been able to mod, magicly chould mod now.

If we ever saw something like this happing agien for the 360. You can expect a larg influx agien in modders.

Right now thow only a skilled hacker who knows what there doing can do any thing with a 360. Even when people start figureing out how do soft mods agien, only a skilled modder chould follow the directions to get by and do what they want.

But as I said, if this modding made simple program was to ever return we whould have the same modder head ach as in Halo 2.

W()()T long quote! ^.^ But anyways, yeah as said before, at 400 buckz a pop not many people can afford to tinker with the 360, only to ruin it and need another one. Modding is stupid anyway and only for losers that cant use their own skill to rise the ranks. Can anyone here tell me why its fun to watch a number go up from a cheap, unskilled, TOO EASY win? Where's the TRUE stisfaction in being able to honestly say you owned that match...=)

Personally, I think all bridgers, modders etc. should be still be banned from Halo 3. In all fairness to those who were somehow wrongfully banned... I'm sorry, but Bungie had to take steps to protect the right and just players. If the people who bridge suck THAT badly to the point where they have to cheat to rank: then they don't even deserve to be playing with the rest of the community who work hard and develope there playing ability to the point where they have decent rank. Then again, Bungie could give them another chance.... It's not up to us: it's there decision and we should respect it if they do unban them.
