Subject: What is the most overpowered Armour Ability?

Promethean vision and active camo are the most exploitable armor abilities but they are not overpowered.

So you went to the trouble of clicking on my profile, either to send a group invite or hate message, or to check my Halo stats and call me a BK. I like Peanut Butter Waffles.

I'm fine with Promethean Vision. Camo is what really grinds my gears.

Camo or Jetpack.

the thing that doesn't make me dislike promethean vision is that I dont know when people are using it. I find camo annoying, becuase it is obvious when people are.

None. They are all balanced to me.

I love regen field.

I can't believe you guys aren't saying "jetpack". Completely changes map control, makes it easy to move around quickly, or escape attacks (Haven is a great example of all of this).

Pure Insanity
The point of war is not to die for one's clan, but it's to make the other bastard die for his
Right before you die, there is always a chance to save yourself, sieze that chance and live to fight another day
The best way to kill someone is to fight them with the same weapons they use and make them know you are better than them, not because of superior weaponry, but because of superior skill.
Hidden in the shadows, Clothed in camo, Armed to the teeth. Hunting.

I voted Hologram because my real answer is "None of them".

and active camouflage is underpowered.
What?
Even though the Reach one had its silly moments, it was toned down EVEN FURTHER for Halo 4. It should not be throwing out neutral targets on the radar. That simply puts a big sign up saying, "OI! THERE'S A STEALTH DUDE AROUND HERE!"

Then, people watch their radar. Also, since the camouflage doesn't mask your movements at all, any movement more than crouching instantly reveals your position. Or simply moving up stairs/ramps does due to a strange feature where you turn visible on motion sensors while going up ramps.

If active camo either A. Didn't put up any friendly/hostile IFF's or B. Put up all enemy IFF's, it'd be much better. However, as it stands, it is horribly underpowered due to this. As for how long it lasts and how well it cloaks a moving target, that's debatable. I would love a little bit of extra time to be cloaked and a slightly better cloak while I'm moving, but it's not enough to make me complain too severely.

Halo 4's camo is better.

Because if you just sit still with it, those neutral dots will disappear. And there's no other way to see you. I don't understand how you think H4's camo is underpowered in any way.

The neutral dots in the radar point isn't arguable, as Reach's camo had the exact same thing, except with red dots. So by your logic, with a bunch of red dots on the radar, there CLEARLY isn't a person in camo there?

Moving while camo'd reveals you to try to balance it, you know. If camo functioned like it did in the other Halo games, it would be severely overpowered and would most definitely be used the most, making every match a hide and seek game.
If you honestly think this, you've completely missed the mechanic.

The red dots:
1. Mask your team's movements
2. Mask your own movements
3. Doesn't give away your location as easily
4. Act as a distraction

The neutral dots:
1. Give away the fact that there's a stealth person immediately without any hesitation or second-guessing
2. Nothing else, really.

Also, I don't use active camo to camp or snipe. I use active camo to hunt. I got the full assassination commendation within the first few hours of my playing. You wanna run that by me again why I don't want to move with active camo on?
