You face an opponent who has never known defeat, who laughs in foreign tongues at your efforts to survive. This is Reply suicide.

I would like NEARLY everything destructable.

I'd like to see tanks able to put craters in the ground... Or holes in walls... I'd like to see you able to destroy certain walls and windows and alleyways to create or close routes of attack.

I'd like to see a base COMPLETELY blow up when you plant a bomb, not just some small explosion that's the equivalent of a large rocket...

I'd like to see the actual BASE destroy.

I would also like vehicles to have health meters so they could die, even if the person inside wasn't close to death. This would make killing Banshees and Tanks MUCH easier and the people who use them, less likely to whore them and get running riots or berserkers.

I'd like to blowup walkways or bridges and block modes of entrance or drop people down a level and cause them damage.

I'd like to be able to pockmark EVERYTHING in the game and have the pockmarks STAY.

I think the only way vehicles should vanish, is if you have "vehicles respawn". Otherwise, i think the debris should STAY.

I'd also like to see some of the movable objects be destructable. Think about it... You hit some boxes with a rocket, and they fly off.... They don't blow up or shatter or anything. They just move. Much of the moving crap does this, and it's ANNOYING. I want it to be able to be destroyed!

everything is destroyable
the walls, the ground, the sky
EVERYTHING
shoot enough rockets you can get to the other side of the plan

agreed, this was sort of the way they made it sound 2 would be when it was in early development (well not that ridiculous, but they made it seem things would be more destructible than they are.)

JUMP FEET FIRST INTO HELL!!

i dont know if anyone here has play battlefield2:mc on the xbox 360 but that games environmentes are very destructable.when bulltes wis past ur hear and hit the wall in front of u u see bullte hole on the wall that is tight and ur bullte shell should stay on the floor as well for the whole game also when a tank shoots and hits a wall a big peace of the wall should fly out.also with the plasma guns they should make things melt cause there fire plasma which is really -blam!- hot and it should be hot enough to melt all kinds of -blam!-

It would be neat to throw a plasma gernade into a pile of bullet shells and have the shells go flying and hit someone.

I would definitley like to see more environment damage. Some things in a map definitley SHOULDN'T be destructible, but other things would be neat to see. For instance, the front wall of the Zanzibar base should stay invunerable, because that would just make it too easy for people to walk in; it ruins the balance. Other things woudl be neat to see though. Imagine someone is hiding behind a wall in Turf and you could just point the Warthog LAAG on it and it would crumble.

It'd also be awesoem to see grenades, rockets and shells be able to blow craters. Imagine having your squad in a pinch and needing cover, and everyone throws grenades a few meters away and makes a bunker. THAT would be incredible.

Yay. Someone recovered my thread.

Anybody want destructable trees? Players of the first Turok game and Turok Evolution will know that trees could be kncoked down, killing enemies, in Halo 3 you should be able to knock down trees with a few melee's,seeing as how master chief and Elites are super strong.

I'm suprised no one mentioned any battle damage yet.

i think fusion cores should leave craters in the ground. so should grenades and rockets.

i think it would be kinda cool to be able to knock down some walls in a base to make assault or CTF a little more strategic. but there should be some walls that are invincible like someone said earlier.

i think the whole vehicle health thing could be a little weird. it should definitely be used in matchmaking, but there should be an option in custom games where it could be turned on and off.

I think, I hope, that everything will be destructible. I hope there would be a urban/city/house-to-house level where anything, and I mean EVERYTHING , goes and will be destroyed inside the level's area. That would be sweet. Anything in a level's area should be destructible. Oh, and bases should be destructible too, as in the bases on Coagulation/Blood Gulch.

It would not be that much fun if everyhing was destructable. When playing a long match or gamme eventually you would be playing on a flat boring level ground were everyone is out in the openwith no place to hide. Spawn Killeslike crazy. Especially if someone got the sniper rifle.

I think all characters models should have ragdoll physics with no collision bugs. I'd like the maps the be very destructibe but not enough to destroy everything like walls and floors like in Worms Armageddon.
