everybody is talking about earth and fighting there. HELLO!! THE GAME IS CALLED HALO! there is going to be fighting on Halo, other wise it makes no sense! bungie is prob going to have the Arbiter fighting on Halo, while MC is on Truth's ship and fighting on Earth. otherwise it doesn't make sense to have the game titled Halo and not fight on one.

Just because its CALLED halo doesn't mean it has to be on "a halo".
The ARK has everything to do with the halos in the universe and the ARK is on earth...

So yeah, earth fighting alone makes sense to me.

Sure it's called Halo, that's the name of the franchise. They didn't change Halo 2's name to Halo/Earth because there was fighting on earth did they?

Lee Harvey Oswald, shooting from the top floor of
the Book Depository was able to take 3 shots from
an old Italian bolt action rifle. From a distance of over
258 feet and shooting at a moving target he was able
to score 2 hits including a headshot. Now does
anybody know where he learned to shoot like this?

Simple answer: Marketing, if bungie changes the name Halo to another name alot of people who know the name Halo but dont actually play the game but are thinking of buying the game will not buy the game, the more well known your name is the more you will sell.

actually the ark is if you think about it another halo because it fires all the halos so in the fact that its not an actually a halo it still has something to do with them, besides its really about the story not the name.

"The man who knows he knows nothing, knows something"

I really enjoy exploring the vastness of the halo's and the crazy outdoor scenery. I really hope the MC ends up on another halo again somehow....

The Man in Black fled across the desert, the Gunslinger followed.

So....what your saying is you want it to be called Earth 3?

Exactly. This is the reason why the book was called "Halo: Fall of Reach". The book had absolutely nothing to do with any of the Halo rings. Yet, if the book was just called Fall of Reach, most people would be confused.. As long as it is in the Halo universe and contributes to the Halo story it is valid to keep the name Halo as its franchise title.
