I know everything, I've just forgotten most of it.

Also, my XBL Gamertag is 'Wenggh', not 'A Stolen Fruit'.

I stopped caring about Minecraft after the Hunger Games in Minecraft took over youtube. Every commentator is always playing Hunger Games or making lobbies for Hunger Games.

It gets old fast, specially when everyone has only 1 life.

When did that happen? Also, the movie was terrible.

At least playing The Hunger Games in Minecraft is fun!

When every 12-year old, youtube commentator, and all their grandmothers didn't play it?

Hipster.

Full sentences, bro. Full sentences.

You, I don't like you.

I know what you mean. Ever since I found out you can switch to creative mode while in survival mode, the enjoyment faded away. Why spend hours looking for diamond when you have an endless amount of materials at your disposal in creative mode?

Who said you have to use creative mode?

On the Left

Godshatter: I can go all the way with someone without being attracted to them.
CamCamm: How does that work?
Godshatter: I'm easily aroused by anything that moves. It's a curse.
Brain says 'No, that's ugly', body says 'ugly is fine with me'.

Do I really need to explain to you people how adding the option to ruin the game leaves you with the temptation and annoyance of having to resist possibly ruining the game for yourself, or even actually ruining the game for yourself, not to mention how it completely destroys the atmosphere?

Minecraft in general isn't as fun anymore.

I think it's just that the initial rush wore off, as someone else said. Like, you know how to survive best, and how to make everything, so it's just not as new.

^ I agree with this. I started playing Minecraft around 1.8 and it felt like how the OP described it pre-adventure update. After a while its still fun, just not a new feeling.

1.8 is where it went downhill, bro. You know not of the feel we speak.

I got Minecraft when it was at 1.7.3, I think.

I know I got it before 1.8!

It was the same feel, I just had like 3 more features to deal with. I played the XBL version before the newest update too. I know that feel.

You probably don't know much of the feel, as part of the feel was witnessing updates and seeing the potential the game had.

Eh, it's not exactly the same, but whatever feels your boat.

What's not to understand? It's 1.8+, it ruined Minecraft, and we hate it.

  • 11.26.2012 3:55 PM PDT

Octavia is best pony.

I don't see why people complain about hunger. I love it. Sure, starving can be annoying. But do you remember 1.7.3? Where to survive mining, you had to fill your inventory with non-stackable food? I don't miss it at all.

I'm actually quite excited with how Minecraft has developed. The Mod API should open up all sorts of new options.

Huh, I've been enjoying all these post 1.8 updates. Been as much fun as when I first played back in the early stages of Beta.

Wasn't that mod API announced AGES ago?

And you could MAKE food stackable. Minecraft didn't have to turn into this -blam!- "kill this dragon, alchemy, enchating, Medieval adventure survival wannabe RPG" game.

But it's getting implemented now.
