Yes.

Try deleting and re-installing.

How is that supposed to help? Especially since you don't install anything.

The strongest Rivals are also the strongest allies.

Beds ruined it.

Minecraft was never a good game.

The world is not beautiful: And that, in a way, lends it a sort of beauty.

~Kino's Journey

Before the adventure update i'd just kill myself if i wanted to get my health back, now i actually have a reason to get food and survive, i like MC even more now.

If you don't like the features then don't use them, no one's forcing you to use them OP.

Install, download, it's all the same. And I don't know, I've never had the error before, so I google'd it, and someone said it CAN fix the problem.

No one is forcing me to use hunger?

I miss Halo. Maybe Halo 4 will change that.

Edit: Lol nope

It sounds to me like you overplayed it. By a massive amount.

Also those first feels are just that, first feels. You get them the first time you play, and it lessens each time you go on the game, to the point where you realize that the feels have gone.

It's sad but true.

Friends before pixels.

I concour.

hmm

First time playing single-player survival Minecraft.... Yeah I miss that feel.

  • 11.28.2012 6:45 AM PDT

When i first played Minecraft scared the -blam!- out of me, but now it's turned into exactly what you've outlined. ALl the annoying ass Freshman in my school play it like it's some new awesome game and act like they discovered it.

I remember when I didn't even know what to do or what anything was. When clay and pumpkins were rare and when 3 diamonds meant the world.

Hanger one I just shredded with the SMGs until ammo was out and I just threw 'nades like a boss while BRing.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

and I think hunger was a pretty cool addition. Making farms at your villages now had a true purpose!Posted by: BahamutZER0
Don't know what you're talking about tbh, the only material complaint I see is you don't like hunger

I dunno, but playing Minecraft just doesn't feel quite the same as when I first got it :c

It's still tons of fun to play though!

The atmosphere is ruined. The gameplay isn't the same anymore.

Remember after you just built your house and it's night time, or you're exploring the ground, or it's sunrise or something and hearing one of these?

I don't know about you guys, but that's still how I play minecraft.

To me, It's just as glorious as it once was. Stay in survival, default texture pack (or whatever is your favourite) and it's still reminscent of the old times....

I for one still think 3 diamonds mean the world.

My brother on the other hand practically uses his daimond pick for dirt....

What happened to those feels? you.

I see no change to minecraft other than popularity and update. Popularity does not effect your game play experience alone. You don't have to download updates to play alone.

I think it's just that the initial rush wore off, as someone else said. Like, you know how to survive best, and how to make everything, so it's just not as new.

^ I agree with this. I started playing Minecraft around 1.8 and it felt like how the OP described it pre-adventure update. After a while its still fun, just not a new feeling.

1.8 is where it went downhill, bro. You know not of the feel we speak.

It was the same feel, I just had like 3 more features to deal with. I played the XBL version before the newest update too. I know that feel.

It was not the same feel. You do not know the feel of which we speak.
I started in 1.66 and I know the feel. It's time.

Wheres Meh Sniper?

Youtube page

It has changed, but I wouldn't say any of the changes are for the worse. Or bad in my opinion.

Honestly, this is a good cover up for all the idiots who won't know its a cover up .

You don't HAVE to do any of those things. It's about playing the way you want to.

Why do people post the same thing over and over again, even though there are rebuttals to the things they say that have already been said earlier in the thread? Why not just reply to those?

Marley: next time try to be a little for inconspicuous.
John: What do you mean?
Marley: John, we grow lots of gear, right?
John: Yeah loads...
Marley: So try not to come back with a wasted girl and a packet of fertilizer!

You mean the new game high?

The game lost its aura because you already learned its ins and outs, it's super easy, and there aren't any surprises anymore. It happens.

This. It took me a while before I had to admit that my reasons for losing interest probably weren't ENTIRELY to do with Mojang. I do however have major issues with the addition of the hunger bar and enchanting which frankly are just a little lengthy for this discussion.

The feel is the fear on your first night.

that feel when you watched half of a walkthrough and made a small, lit shelter in the wall of a cave, not knowing exactly when the bad things are that happen at night.

I still think it's an amazing game. You just lost that twelve year old sense of wonder. Congratulations, you now know how the Minecraft world works and operates. You have graduated to Minecraft adult-hood.
