Will there be Flood in H3? If it takes place on Earth there might not be any Flood at all. But there probably will be Flood because the other games had them. There couldn't be any flood on Earth, otherwise humans would have found them sooner. Or maybe that thing in the trailer is full of Flood. H3 might not even be on Earth. Then there could be tons of Flood. Can some one please clarify this for me? Its really confusing.

This is a truly stupid post, I thought it was beyond common knowledge that Humans and Covenant team up against the Flood, it was MORE than hinted at in the announce trailer and Bungie has all but flat out said so numerous times.

I better go check to be sure before I'm left looking like a dumbass though :)

EDIT: Yep its pretty obvious from reading the Halo 3 announce FAQ and etc. that the Covenant is pretty much in a civil war (certain races are leaving the covenant like the Elites) and they will fight along side the Humans against the Flood.

I still could be proven wrong though!

Oh and what the hell are you talking about when you say that if there was Flood on the Earth we would have found them? Flood aren't native to the Earth, if they were here they would have landed/invaded. Remember in Halo 2 when the Flood could control dropships and the like? Its totally possible that Flood could have come to Earth.

Yes, you could be still proven wrong, and that is my job.

If you read the last update, the one for 6/30/06, Frankie said that he was killing Grunts.

Last time I checked, Grunts were Covenant.

If they were allies, why were they killing each other?

Now, of course, the message of an alliance might not have reached the Cvenant on Earth and to the ears of the Chief, but who knows?

I will think that they are still at war until I am proven otherwise.

That is such a nice jesture, i wish i was more like you.
To the poster. This is a great question to ponder. Say the flood is in the game, then it will suck for two reasons, 1, it will not be on earth, 2, if they were on earth, the humans would be gone and no reason to fight...
unless mc is a girl and he makes babies with johnson. ewwww.

BTW----Sarcasm.

Sorry to quote such a big thing but you must've missed the Covenant civil war part, if I remember correctly the Prophets, Grunts, Jackals and Brutes decided to stick with their original plan of activating the halos and going to heaven etc. while the Elites and Hunters and maybe some others (maybe Jackals were on this side? Im not sure) decided to ally with the Humans.

Will you stfu people stop making smartass remarks. If your sick of seeing repetetive posts don't go into them.

In response to the post I think that the structure in the trailer is revealing that there is a halo in Earth and that infact there are flood in there that come out. Just a theory as likely as the next.

Ps:I'm not pissed at you Mr. Poster.
