I don't need to argue your red herring false analogy. Thanks though, for wonderfully illustrating it for us.

And now observe how he's making excuses and still thinks insults validate the baseless statements he's making.

How about you explain how using birth control makes sex any less natural.

Yes. You are an idiot if you think not.

Why should it be looked down upon? Because you think what people do in the bedroom is anyone else's business? Doesn't that just make you a controlling, self-righteous douche?

A real test of a man is if he is willing to scrape a sharpened razor up and down his junk just to please a woman.

I can't get married, so how does that work?

How does this need explanation. The act of sex is meant to naturally produce offspring. Once you tamper with the effects, it becomes unnatural. It's simply two people engaging in the act of intercourse, one of which has manipulated their biology to the point where they can't produce anything.

In modern times sex is not just about reproduction. It can be done for many reasons. It can be a way for a couple to bond. It can be done simply for fun and pleasure. It can be stress relief. If the only reason you'd want to have sex is to have children, well I actually pity you and feel bad for whoever your partner is.

Humans got to where they are technologically and socially because they're masters of manipulation. Can't find a shelter and cold? Boom, make a house and fire. Food goes bad after a while? Boom, keep it cold with a refridgetor. Cold? Boom, get Dying of sickness and smelling? Boom, get soap and create vaccines and treatments.

Horny? Boom, choke the bishop. Don't -blam!- and -blam!-ly harass people because of -blam!-ly suppressed urges!!! Just jack off!

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

Marriage is dumb, I have a partner, we have kids, love each other etc etc

Marriage has no practical purpose.

That was around the time when premarital sex became mainstream.

I hate ganging up on people, but that's how I see it. Sure, people probably ought to make sure they want to commit to the one they want to do the deed with, but it's their business if they're just looking for a piece (and honestly, I'm sure there are a lot of us who've been there). Furthermore, marriage isn't at all necessary to have a happy, healthy relationship.

I want to add that it's not alright to have sex with somebody who wants something more when you don't. I don't want to come off as if I'm condoning that.

I find it funny how you're so desperate to pin your opinion on people that you claim you "pity" them. My girlfriend and I don't need to have sex to form a bond. If you do, then clearly you're doing something wrong.

I'll agree with this guy because in reality if a relationship needs sex for a bond then there is problem with the people in the relationship.

I'm not trying to pin my opinion on anyone. I really don't care if you think like I do or not. But I will argue against stupid claims, such as sex with birth control is unnatural; something which you seem to no longer be trying to claim. I will pity people that I think won't get the full enjoyment out of life because of silly, unnecessary and self-imposed moral constraints.

Also, please do point out where I said you have to have sex to form a bond with a partner. As it appears that all I've said is that one of the ways it can be used is to form a bond between partners.

Technically birth control can be thought of as unnatural but I won't go on talking about that. Um would you go have sex with anybody? Most of us have moral constraints, whether we like to admit it or not.

No I would not have sex with any body. Though that has nothing to do with morals, as I have slept with married women and had no problems with it.

I don't sleep with people because they are unattractive. Which is a matter of having standards, not morals.

  • 01.07.2013 3:15 AM PDT

Well, I've been economical with the truth.

No not really, most teenagers around 16 and up these days have already had sex and they are not looking down to it and neither is the generation before us, because they know they did the same. Also in this day and age getting married is also a thing of money, it costs quite a bit, it is no small occasion.

So if two people are in a relationship and they find it enjoyable to have sex with each other I don't see what the problem with that is. Not hurting anyone at all in my eyes, as long as they are both happy.

Actually it is, by definition, unnatural. If you can't understand something that should be common knowledge, then apparently I'm wasting my time. I will say however that just because I'm not constantly having sex doesn't mean I wont be getting "full enjoyment out of life" when the emotional bond is a lot more satisfying than being a -blam!- deviant.
