There's a “U” and “I” in union but just an “I” in my beliefs

Let them do what they want.

No.

Seriously, there is no legitimate argument against it. As long as it's safe it's all good. And if they want to go "all natural" so be it. That's their problem should something go wrong. And what if they want to have child but not get married?

As I said, there is no real argument against it.

I've had sex easily several thousand times in the past 11 years. I haven't gotten any diseases or gotten anyone pregnant.

As mentioned earlier in this thread, that's an issue with idiots having sex.

I don't understand why there needs to be an argument "against it". I expressed my views on the last page; I'm certainly not trying to change anybody's opinions. I would hope that they show me the same respect. Why do we need to change each other's opinions?

Its a healthy pass time.
Also, it's a great way to get some exercise.

I guess the reason is that people want their opinions to be universally accepted, but the truth is that's not really necessary. I may not agree with some of the opinions here, but I tolerate them just fine. I don't have to like something to be okay with it.

Yeah but if everybody accepted your opinion (not yours) then people could potentially be wrong thus making you wrong. Again I am not saying you're wrong but I am saying that some opinions are wrong.

Maybe, but that's a bad example here. There isn't really a "right ot wrong" with this concept. It's all pretty subjective. I could be in the exact same situation as someone else here with a different view from mine, and we could both stick to our morals, and both be equally happy by making different choices. There isn't really a way to be definitive here.

What's unhealthy about sex? It's good exercise, helps you relax and is fun. Why are you disturbed by my prowess?

To keep safe from STD's and unwanted pregnancies, I get my exercise from sex with two pillows. Yeah super hardcore abs here! Lol just kidding.

This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends;
Not with a bang but a whimper.

From a scientific standpoint, yes. Sex releases oxytocin, a bonding hormone, so when you have sex with somebody you are not committed to, it can, quite literally, devastate them if you end the relationship. Said chemical is more readily released in women than men.

There is some interesting research on the subject. Oxytocin is also released in women during childbirth, which helps account for the "maternal instinct."

This. Those who wish to -blam!-, let them -blam!-. Be they -blam!- or hetro, I don't give a damn, they just deserve the right to do so as a human being.

No, but people should be educated about the risks.

On the other hand, people who do wait for marriage shouldn't be ostracized for it either. IMO, that shows a level of maturity on the part of the individual or couple who choose to wait.

Obviously, I do not think it's a bit much. I think it's about right. It's about 3-4 times a week for 11 years is probably what it would average out to. So that's between 155 and 210 times a year. Which would be somewhere between 1700 and 2300 times. Not all with different women mind you. There was a 5.5 year relationship in that time as well as a couple 2 year ones.

Some would say that it is purely for reproduction.

Do you like Green Eggs and Ham???

I myself am straight edge, so I would not have premarital sex.

However, as long as the kids aren't idiots and have a accidental child, it isn't a big deal.

No; this isn't the 1800s anymore. I would hazard a guess that most people have sex before marriage these days.
