Subject: The Euclideon "unlimited detail" renderer

A few months back, there was a tech demo video I watched here by these guys who claimed that they made an engine that gave you the ability to have an "unlimited" polygon budget. I was pretty skeptical about this tech, since the claim did sound a little exaggerated. However, a few months later, I fell upon this real time tech demo. Although I am still a tiny bit skeptical, I'm getting more and more convinced that this is legit technology.

What's your take on this, flood? Opinions? Observations? Insults?

This is way old news. If it actually worked well, people would probably be using it.
