Neutron bombs are a type of thermonuclear weapon designed to kill people while leaving physical structures such as buildings in tact.
So these only kill living forms while not harming the topography of the landscape?
Yep.
It's what the bomb was designed for. Explodes in the atmosphere and the radiation falls down to the ground killing every living thing in a certain mile radius. Structures stay intact so when forces of behind the bomb drop can occupy the structures.
What you said about occupying the structures is by far the dumbest -blam!- I've read today. If radiation has come down and killed all the living things in the area then it will still be there when the invading army comes in. It takes hundreds, even thousands of years for radiation to go away, but to be fully habiable it would take at least 100. Just look at Chernobyl, it's been almost 50 or so years and you stil lcan't live there.
No way in hell would you be able to take over the structures after a nuetron bomb has taken out all the life in the area.
You should read books more.
I read plenty of books thank you and I've studyed nuclear weapons, their implications, how they work, and what they do for quite some time now. A nuetron bomb would make an area uninhabitable because of its radiation for at least 50 years.
Next time you want to insult someone come up with something better than "You should read books more."
