This is wrong. America and China have more power economically than Britain does, as well as military.
Paul stated that our economy is smaller and our military is among the world's best.

This is true for the infantry and air force, but you guys still need to piggy-back on other people. I'd say France has an overall more potent military force. You guys just make up for the lack of a potent navy with supermarines.
Not just us who piggy-back (I'll admit Paul tends to be a bit UK -blam!- yeah), Supermarines only go to the 50s though? Is there something I'm missing?

Woops, forgot the aircraft. I was commenting on how compared to our Marines, your Marines have insanely advanced training, and better firearms.

Which means jack crap when you lack the ability to properly support it. That's like boasting that you have Battleships but no carriers.

And what are the supercarrier classes? Based off the Nimitz?

Coca Cola.

If that doesn't establish a foothold into nearly every life on the planet, I defy you to find me something else that does better.

I agree.

A competitive players main goal is to win.
A casuals main goal is to have fun regardless of whether that results in a win or loss.
It has nothing to do with individual skill or knowledge, it has to do with the reason you play.

Lol the British used to be very powerful but became very lazy, they have sold most of their industry. Even Land Rover/Jaguar is moving overseas which is one the most iconic British cars every made. Britain isn't actually producing and selling much which is why they went into a recession.

Ah np, I think we're going to have some new ones introduced in a few years but yh the cut-backs did reduce what we had.

Probably not as fancy but you bet it will be technologically above anything America has at the moment and yes im aware the nimitz is currently being designed and to be built soon. (Thats why I said at the moment.

65,000 tons is close but doesn't meet the criteria of a super-carrier, but would be a very big fleet-carrier.

Nimitz class (no longer in production) are 100,000+ tons. The Ford class will also be 100,000+.

Here's a good side-by-side of a Nimitz berthed next to a fleet-carrier (Ark Royal who was 43,000 tons). The QE class would be somewhere between the two.

Is the QE going to have a catapult launch system or just sloped foredeck?

Anyway according to Wikipedia it will be a STOVL configuration since the catapult system got more expensive, I think we could loosen the term a bit and call them super carriers just for moral sake. Who decides what a super carrier's size is anyway?

Just reading up. So her only fixed-wing aircraft will be the 35? Interesting, but understandable. Without a catapult it would be hard to get some other aircraft launched.

Getting something like the E-2/C-2 off the deck is (at least to me) amazing. Being able to field some specialist aircraft does increase the capabilities of the whole task-force. This will put a lot of pressure on the 35's to be excellent multi-taskers.
