Just thought i'd point out not all of America's forces is self-built.

Hardly.

The logo, the shape of the bottle, the fact that nearly any human capable of speech knows what it is, and if one is being offered, would more than likely accept?

I'd argue Manchester United or The Monarchy would give the Coke Brand a run for its money in terms of Global awareness.

I've definitely heard more about coke than those other two.

I am not being deliberately contrary, but you're pretty close to both of those. I can say that other than a pic of HRM, I am unaware and probably could not point out a logo or other visual identifier for either.

But you have heard of them, correct?
MUFC are stupidly big in East Asia, and one of the first things someone will think about when hearing 'Britain' will be HRH QE2.

I'm not really invested in this thread, the two just popped into my head as I was reading through, but in terms of global recognition I would expect 'Manchester United' to be up there, along with Coca Cola, Microsoft and McDonalds.

Posted by: Recon Number 54

And unless the pic had the guards in it? I wouldn't recognize the building. Just like I wouldn't expect you to have a recognition of the White House, the US Capitol or... actually, I would expect a wider recognition of Cinderlla's Castle than of Buckingham or the buildings I mentioned.

Really? You wouldn't expect most people to recognise the White House?
Also a little surprised you wouldn't recognise Buckingham Palace.
I think this may just be you. A lot of people, I assume, would disagree with you here.

nope. i agree with him.

But I think I cleared my list a while ago, so feel free to PM me if you feel like it.

They literally make up stuff to sell their paper. Mocking dead people (some of them were just kids) isn't a problem for them either.

Oh, I know all about it. They have some of the most over opinionated, biased, moronic reporters I have ever seen. The Globe, the Star... those are reliable media sources. The Sun here, if anything like it is in Britain, is simply for your average to below average intelligence reader's paper. It appeals to the most basic comprehension levels.

Bias will always exist, and that is fine. But there are quality gradations. The sun is at the lowest rung on the scale.

Its the best tabloid in the country seriously the Daily Mail claimed the EU was going to ignore WW2 ever happened. You are just annoyed about the Hillsborough story, yea they messed up but get over it.
The phone hacking scandal? Yeah, it was "another paper", but the same scum were behind that.

In my opinion Russia in general is way "better" in most aspects. Nowadays, everything is made there. Russia is equal in power to the USA; the Russian language is one of the richest; a lot of high quality products are made there; it also has quite a history, but you probably don't study about it for obvious reasons. The list could go on for long...
