Subject: Was Loki right?

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

In the Avengers movie, he states that our freedom is our curse. Meaning that only when subjugated are humans happy.

Do you think he was correct? Is freedom a burden to heavy for humanity to carry? Are we happiest when kneeling to a stronger force?

Call me Rdog, not RdOG or RdOG1507. I made that username when I thought it was cool to use alternating capital and lowercase letters...

Loki is such a great character. I truly felt sorry for him in Thor and the Avengers.

Love Marvel.

lol, attempting to find meaningful sayings in a b-rate action movie. OK then.

And humanity is happy the most when overthrowing tyranny. We just love to murder dictators.

No, and it was a failed attempt at countering the Dark Knight movie series' villains who had actually good ideology.

Well every time we are all free we find the need to kill eachother again. I mean, Israel is a great example of this: "hooray we have lands now"
"WE NEED MOAR. ISRAEL MUST GROW LARGER. LOLPALESTINE"

In a sense, yes. People enjoy security, and not having to think for themselves.

Yeah, I was a little too eager to attack Loki's deluded logic.

But the err... governments elected by Italy and Germany during the 1930's counter your point.

Impoverished, desperate peoples are not a great example of this. More of a '-blam!- it, this guy looks like he could get us out of a depression'.

My message still stands. Loki is a generic character. His persona is neither interesting or original.

They weren't elected because they had autocratic ideologies. They were elected because they had the potential of reforming a country. And some of them actually did.
