Any PM's (about my armor) sent over Bungie.net or Friend Requests (for my armor) over Live will be unanswered/declined. Sorry! All you need to know is that I was given my armor because I fulfilled one of the secret requirements for Bungie Day 09. I am a pre-owner of Recon!

A Liberal Arts degree is why a Bachelors degree has become so muddy in terms of looking good career wise.
Anyone can go to a University, major in Liberal arts, study some Psychology, maybe a little of Sociology, a tad bit of writing, etc... and come out in the end with a Bachelors degree.
There are waaaaay to many Bachelors Degrees out there today. Why do you think so many college graduates can't get a job?
The idea of University has changed in American culture. Now it's all about going because it's what you do after High School. A place to party and get drunk and maybe get a degree afterwards.
Liberal Arts has become one of those degrees that people see as, "easy," and anyone can get. Bachelors degrees have become less valuable because of it. Want a good job, gotta get a Masters now.
Seriously, more people need to go into Blue Collar work. Go to Auto Mechanic's school. Those guys make good money.
I agree with your last point. People can make a very good living doing more blue-collared work. Seriously, a plumber or electrician can make quite a cushy living. My cousin is an electrician (or something very similar) for a private company that works with hotels and he is happy. He makes roughly $70,000 a year and he didn't graduate from college (I think he went to a trade school).
College just isn't for everyone.
