Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

So I know the Elder Scrolls online will becoming out soon or has come out (I haven't been paying attention), but I was like "what about us non-computer gamers, don't we get something as well?"

I thought of a Skyrim multiplayer that could be added as a free DLC to the game for us console gamers and even the PC ones (who plays on the PC anyways?.........jk).

MM: The maps would be sections of the Skryim world that have been cut out for the MM mode. You only battle people your skill level, unless with a friend. You can choose to battle a certain type of character or pick random. All Skills and weapons equipped to the player may be used. None of this translates to the Single player rank up system.

Unlock special Armors for MM only.

enemies are not visible on map

1 vs 1- Two players are pitted against each other in a variety of locations such as a dungeon, ruin, forest, city (ex: Whiterun), Icy tundra, or fort. Players are spawned at random locations on the map and the first to eliminate the other player 3 times wins.

2 vs 2- Same as 1 vs. 1, except larger map locations, and players may be pitted against others of higher skill level depending on the level of there friend. All players are spawned at random locations and teammates must meet up.

Skyrim version of firefight- up to 4 players are put in a random location on a map, and they have to fight off waves of various enemies which increase in size and difficulty. Eventually players would face enemies such as Dremora Lords and Legendary Dragons. they collectively as a unit get 10 lives.

What do you think Flood? I would love to see something along these lines implemented. I can't see why this couldn't be done

Or you know, we could have 2-4 people running around in free roam, like a Bethesda game is supposed to be played.

Skyrim won't get any official multiplayer, period. I can't see a survival mode based on waves to work in Skyrim unless bodies disappear almost instantly and there's no looting enabled.

I hate to shoot this down right off the bat but no, skyrim is meant to be a single player experience only in a open world environment, having small maps would ruin the experience and a forcing it to be a 1 v 1 or 2 v 2would be a terrible idea. Players that focus on stealth would have the obvious disadvantage and any good range person would dominate

TL:DR=no

I hate MLP. It is cancerous and pretty stupid to see men watching a show for girls. They can deny the truth but the truth shall prevail!

Co-op would work out incredibly well IMO

Oh I'm not saying it wouldn't but there would have to be serious tweaks to the system for it to work, like maybe coop focused quests or something like that

why are you opposed to head on head battle?

Because for me when I play skyrim, focusing on a forced battle with one person who takes one hit to kill is dreadfully boring, I would rather either play alone or travel around with a few friends killing dragons in the open world rather than have a separate tacked on multiplayer that's just for a cash grab

This. I'd rather spend time investing in the Skyrim Lunar Program with friends than MORE ranked multiplayer with and unlocking system. -blam!- that.

I be trippin'.

Any sort of player vs player idea is a terrible one. Elder Scrolls co-op could be very fun, IMO, but the game wasn't built for it so there's a 0% chance of any multiplayer happening. Maybe the next Elder Scrolls, but I sincerely hope they never add a "matchmaking" or other competitive multiplayer.

There's a “U” and “I” in union but just an “I” in my beliefs

They hear you alright, OP.
