He isn't real?!?

Whose lap was I sitting on then?!?
Does this mean that you won't be coming back to visit this year?

I'll have to make alternate plans if not.
Depends, will I still get that toy train?

Well, you do know the train goes into the tunnel... I'd better stop now.

Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas kids!

You, I don't like you.

In fourth grade... Sooo 9?

My teacher told me, my mom was livid. She called her up on the phone that day and -blam!-ed her ear off

Why?

OT: Got skeptical around 6 and came to the conclusion he wasn't real at 10 or 11.

If Fed Ex and UPS merged into one company, would it be called Fed Up?

I don't want to start another account for a digital number that has no true value in ten years.

Maybe 7 or 8, I asked my mom since it clearly was impossible to happen. Magic isn't real and reindeer move at like 30 mph which is impossible to cover in a day, my logic.

The best way to kill someone is to fight them with the same weapons they use and make them know you are better than them, not because of superior weaponry, but because of superior skill.

I found out Santa wasn't real by the time I was old enough to understand who Santa was.

I was never told that Santa is real.

  • 11.27.2012 3:41 PM PDT

Four years old.

Just remember that no matter how terrible you feel, or how much you want to let go, there are people who care about you and love you.

I never believed that Santa was real.

I noticed santa had extremely close handwriting to my mother's and saw her placing the presents under the tree when I was 6 but I humored my parents for 2 more years after that, because they enjoyed it for some reason.

Lt. Dan I brought you some ice cream. Lt. Dan.. ice creaaam!

Like 8 or 9. I remember my Dad told me then I started crying.

I think when I was like 4 or 5 since I helped my mom wrap presents.

"What are we holding on to, Sam?"
"That there's some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."

Nobody ever told me he was real. I doubt I would have believed it, though; I was very cynical to say the least.

But guys...the tooth fairy is still real right?

Skwid

I thought I read somewhere that around 30% of American adults still believe in Santa.

Also, second grade I think. So around eight.

Six. My mom told me he wasn't real and that she wanted to tell me before some kid in school did, she did the same for the Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, etc...

I was the only one who didn't believe until middle school. Crushed my dreams.

Easter Egg Hunter. Apprentice Tricker/Glitcher (learning from Grumpy and Sliding Ghost).

Trying to get Waypoint to update Halo 3 stats in detail like here. Now no one can see that my Halo 3 Spartan no longer looks like my Reach Spartan.

Really want to be a Heroic member or have a title. :/

I was 12.

I first saw it on Wikipedia but I still had hope because of how editable and factual Wikipedia is.

Than I watched a movie called "Gremlin". The girl in the movie lost her dad when he got stuck in the chimney trying to surprise them dressed as Santa. She said that was when she learned Santa isn't real. Now because of that movie I don't believe in Santa. Its still kind of fun to pretend he's real.
