Yup.

You are not wrong.

It's understandable as to why you don't care as much as the rest of your family.

However, just have a little empathy for everyone else. They've lost someone they care about and are probably just surprised that you said that. Give it some time, they'll understand.

Congratulations. You're literate!

It's not about pretending to care about some dead person who was never nice to you. It's about showing respect for the deceased and sympathy for those affected regardless of how they may have treated you.

So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

Nope. If someone in my family kept treating me like crap and then they died, I wouldn't give a -blam!- and move on.

You should not feel bad as you are not in the wrong - if someone treats you badly then you generally do not feel sympathy when they die. That's just the way it is, no matter how much one wants to fake sadness.

It was then that I decided he really is like semen(everywhere) and I gave up on life.

Can't be there for the rest of your family?

Kind of heartless.

My great grandmother died, I didn't frown or cry, in fact all I said was okay, and continued to hang out with my fiance and friends. Apparently that makes me heartless and inconsiderate even though I tried explaining to everyone that she was never nice to me when she was alive and it doesn't affect me now that she's dead.

They don't care and are still -blam!-ing.

What do I say for them to stfu? And am I wrong?
It really didn't affect me when my great Grandfather died.

Then I again, I was 6...

OT: No, you aren't.

"You are the last of your kind: bred for combat, built for war. You're the master of any weapon, pilot of any vehicle, and fear no enemy"

They were probably just looking for some sort of sympathy from you, that would be nice of you.

It's not about you.

You should be showing some care for those who are closer to her than you are.

I'm the same way,and according to my family I'm heartless too. It's not my fault if I don't care about somebody that they care about.

  • 11.27.2012 4:36 PM PDT

Generalizations.
Helping idiots hate other idiots since people have existed.

Fake sadness and regret just to make your family happy.

Sometimes it's best to just avoid confrontation.
