Subject: Idealism or Realism?

Perhaps "hate scientists" is too harsh. I disagree with the idea of science. "Sci", meaning "know". The problem is that we try to know too much. Some things in this universe can't and shouldn't be explained. Instead of spending billions of dollars exploring space, we should first create a better world here on earth.

Because science has never resulted in a practical application ever.

I don't think you understand that you can't just throw money at a problem to create a "better world".
Space travel has literally no practical application. Neither does most science.

Watch that.

Also, have fun saying that when the oil runs out and the ice caps melt.

Can't see why the link isn't working, anyone see what I've done wrong?
We wouldn't need oil if we didn't have cars. The icecaps wouldn't be melting if it weren't for burning fossil fuels.

But we are, and they are.
What? I'm saying we should get rid of cars and stop burning fossil fuels.

You think fuel is the only use of oil? It has literally thousands of uses, all of which are vital to modern living, unfortunately we can't turn back time, we're here, we're industrialized and we're over-populated, feeling nostalgic isn't going to change that.

Also, learn about fractional distillation.
You say that like we can't go back to simpler living.

What? Are you planning on nuking the whole planet to send us back to the stone age?

Stop being so irrational and use your brain for once.

You may want to ask yourself the same question.

You may want to ask yourself the same question.

You don't have to nuke someone in order to move into a simpler existence. You just stop producing cars and stop refining gasoline.

Shabam

Is perception greater than reality? Or is reality your perception of it? There really needs to be a fair balance or idealism and realism in order to function as a human being.

And you honestly see no problem with this suggestion? Are you utterly deluded?
