when the census came around, for religion I put Bungie.

I haven't read the entire thread but has anyone said anything about how they could be making it more accessible by allowing the mobile platforms to be involved? I think it means that people no matter what platform they have will be able to experience it in some way.

I'm particularly excited because this is the first game Bungie is making since Halo 3 which they aren't being forced to create. This is likely why Reach had such a poor campaign: Bungie was testing for their future endeavors.

The artwork instantly captures what made Bungie great until 2007; epic science fiction with a healthy dose of mystery. Can't wait for my favorite developer to win me back.

In response to the "inner 7 year old", I believe they are talking about making you feel like when you were 7 years old and everything is new and exciting!

I played Halo:CE when I was 3-4 years old and I still remember those days. If Bungie does this right, then I will love Destiny as much as I love Halo:CE.

Bro, it takes place 700 years into the future with humanity being demolsihed by aliens, so much that they are reduced to staying in Earth's "last city" so I mean...steampunk feel is just fine with me.

The screenshots and information makes this game remind me of Fallout. A vast open world game but this will be 100 times better that Fallout.

The stuff that I liked the most about CE and Marathon is when they managed to create enviroments that felt truly alien and new. So seeing them going to wierd less traveled and possibly untraveled places is exciting.

And I am not worried about the "inner 7 year old" comment and trying to hit a wide audience. Look at the pixar stuff and well most adventure movies or books. It doesn't take sex and over the top violence, alhtough I'm sure there will be violence in the game, to make good story or games. Sex and violence are usually used merely as gimmicks and really just exclude younger audiences more than really adding any really valuable content to games, etc.

And god am I done with everything being done dark. The only thing making everything dark accomplishes is depressing the -blam!- out of everyone. It;s still unrealistic and childish even if everyone is wearing black and being gloomy and -blam!-.

I am Katsu Kage, an assassin trained in the art of stealth. I was on a recon mission when I discovered a blue box hidden among some rubble. Once I entered the blue box it had taken me to a land far away. It was strange and fantastic! There I met PatikaVoom, the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen. She showed me this land, then returned with me to the blue box. She called it a TARDIS and seemed to know how to work it. We left together and have been on many adventures, with many more to come!

Not necessarily that, but when you say it's not as mature, it means the story and elements won't get me emotionally involved. I don't want just mindless, brain-numbing gaming akin to Angry Birds or something.

Maybe IGN is wrong or something, but I would love to see the political, religious, cultural, social, ethnic ramifications of an Earth 700 years in the future with only one city left.

Not necessarily asking for much here. And yes, when they say accessible, it usually means dumbing down gameplay and no learning curves. Games these days have too much hand-holding. Soft-kill zones if you venture slightly outside of the linear path, waypoints, tips, tutorials, etc.

Nothing is confirmed but i'm sure they will make mobile involved in some way. Whether it will be used as a live GPS map of were you are or for some other handy companion purpose.

Childish cristicism aside, there's not really a way for Bungie to listen to the fans right now if we dont have anything concrete to cristicise/incentivise for now.

I'm really excited about this game, i have the feeling it's gonna be pretty good!
Especially since Bungie is making it because they want to, they are doing it with passion and that can only turn out good.
