Subject: Good microphone/headset for the 360?

If I ever get AIDS, I'm going to sleep with another AIDS person so my AIDS cancel each other out, or I'm going to make the AIDS I already have worse.

I would like something along the lines of one of those Turtle Beach headsets but I know they aren't the best, so Flood what headsets can you recommend that are either 150 USD or below? Also have to be long lasting and durable.

"There's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day."

Dunno about others', but my pair of Turtle Beach X1s are stellar.

Actually, I think they've been discontinued.

I enjoy magma.

Turtle Beach or maybe you can find some random other one you'll end up liking

  • 11.27.2012 6:04 PM PDT

Do you even lift?

Astro A40s.

  • 11.27.2012 6:04 PM PDT

I know Turtle Beaches aren't the best, but I picked one up (X12 I believe) for $35 on Black Friday and it works surprisingly well for a stereo headset. I actually like em. That being said, your budget is a lot higher. I'd recommend this guy here (simulated 5.1) or his true 5.1 surround counterpart. Take a look and see if you think it's worth it. I can find others if you're interested.

What you want OP is a pair of Astro A40's. These things are amazing, first time you put them on you will -blam!- yourself.
Astro also recently released the A50's, which are supposed to have the best sound yet, and are completely wireless.
Only downside is that these will run you about double your price range.

You're like a slinky. Good for nothing, but you bring a smile to my face when I push you down the stairs.

My Turtle Beach X12's were far superior to my Tritton Detonators. I highly recommend the X12's.

This, but they're about $100 too much for the OP.

Small Community, Lots of Fun. We do Halo, Minecraft, and much more.

I use the wireless Xbox 360 Mic. I mean, it's pretty cheap, and I've had it for 5 years, only an occasion connection glitch once in a while.

Just remember that no matter how terrible you feel, or how much you want to let go, there are people who care about you and love you.

Turtle Beach X12s

For generic mics, these are much better than the Default mic, though, last time I looked here, it was listed at only $5.00.

The tritton warheads are the best closed cup headset on the market today's. Best mix amp is the new turtle beach mix amp leagues ahead of the astro pro mix amp.

Any PM's (about my armor) sent over Bungie.net or Friend Requests (for my armor) over Live will be unanswered/declined. Sorry! All you need to know is that I was given my armor because I fulfilled one of the secret requirements for Bungie Day 09. I am a pre-owner of Recon!

I recently bought a pair of Turtle Beach X12's. I'm impressed so far for the price I paid ($35).

From what I've read (reviews and whatnot), it's not the best on the market but is definitely worth the cheap price tag.

AD700 and a Zalman clip-on mic.

They look pretty close to this.

Completely the best until I got a surround sound headset it's like comparing a Ferrari to a honda civic.

So start right now today and risk furiousness for bliss.

I have Turtle Beach Earforce X12s. They're great.
