Here's the problem. Most people just say the person should of just talked to someone or man up to deal with the problems. The thing is with this if you where that person and in their shoes you have to understand all the pressure and problems they are dealing with.

You can't just say deal with it because you aren't them and don't know what goes on in their life. That to me is a sign of arrogance.

It's only being brought up more and more because for the exact reason some other people have stated which is they don't care. I can understand if you don't know the person personally but you have to see it from their eyes. To them nobody gives a damn about them and that adds to the bullying.

Trust me I know from a few people who committed suicide and my own personal thoughts.

When you feel like nobody cares and no matter who you talk to and nothing happens (school, parents, etc) it puts a huge weight on your head. That's the main problem with suicide in todays world. Nobody respects or listens to what others have to say.

You want to stop the bullying? Then show respect to everyone you meet and don't treat them like trash. There's many underlining things that can cause someone to commit suicide. To name a few they can have a biological problem, family problems, job problems, etc. Again don't judge unless you have lived their life and know exactly what they are going through.

This sounds like a bunch of emo nonsense.

All of which would be dealt with if kids sacked up. Don't like being bullied? Punch them in the nose.

I would have bullied significantly less people if someone had broken my nose.

Break their nose? Real mature mate.

Alternatively, you could have just...not been a dick.

Crazy idea.

Who would have prepared these kids for the real world then?

It's not all sunshine and rainbows.

No, i wouldn't, because it doesn't.
If somebody breaks your nose, you aren't going to completely leave it. There's going to be underlying animosity between you and your friends and the other bloke.
So yea, great resolution, try that in the real world.

Bullying doesn't prepare anyone for the real world. The real world doesn't work like that.

I'm actually going to upload my video about this crap soon. It won't be based off of this thread since it's just bullying in general, but it will involve this girl and others.

Aw man :(

The thing is, bullying is something that's going to happen in life but doesn't last long. There will always be people in the world that you won't like and honestly, what happened to just ignoring these idiots? When it comes to online, hell it's even easier to ignore them now! Taking your own life over this is a really stupid thing to do in my opinion.

This generation is pretty weak from the looks of it. They wouldn't last much longer if this was back in my day.

Of course it is, but these people aren't thinking clearly, they're mentally ill.

"Back in the day" a bully couldn't stalk you relentlessly through Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Situations like this one ultimately come back to the person's upbringing, not the "bullying" (bullying is an overused term, and is not an excuse). If the person had been raised to deal with different situations appropriately, this probably wouldn't have happened.

How old are you?

The real world is full of unfortunate situations that make people unhappy. And their isn't always someone to go cry to that can make it better.

I'll be 27 in January. There's a difference between "the world isn't sunshine and rainbows" and "i'm going to harass you continually until you're a broken shell of a person"

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I think there are a lot of people who shouldn't use the internet.

Hi I'm RT and I like to argue!

Well, yeah, why not. Look at how it turned out for the first one, she was in the headlines for days and is a veritable martyr now.

Feeling hopeless to the point of being suicidal and craving attention? Why wouldn't you off yourself in public fashion?

I don't know what to tell you. Kids pick on each other.

That reality is never going to change. Kids need to learn to deal with it better.

I didn't realize people were forced to have those things.
I tried arguing this point once (about 5 weeks ago). Apparently, those things are a "necessity" now for children's social lives. Apparently, you simply cannot function as a child without them.

I, too, was shocked and confounded by this news. The world of adolescence is very different today than when we were there (a mere < 10 years ago). I don't think I ever tried to argue that a telephone was a necessity for my existence when I was young, but I imagine the reaction I'd have gotten would range somewhere between "lol" and the back of a fast-moving hand.
