I think it looks great!

Them windmills! (53:29)

I just watched the whole thing, nostalgia'd all over my floor.

I made my user name back when I was little. I go by RandomJPG now. Please don't reference my username.

I like the high fantasy mixed with sci-fi. Can't say much about the gameplay yet though but unless it ends up looking like total crap I'm sure I'll end up getting it.

I think it's safe to say most of us (who can) will be getting it.

  • 11.28.2012 6:17 AM PDT

It's probably the most original concept I've heard of in awhile.

  • 11.28.2012 6:19 AM PDT

If its a first or third person shooter will most likely buy it. Does anyone think they have a good idea of what genre it's going to be?

Concept Art, were!!?
Is that sarcasm? Coming from a Bnet Vet I assume it is.

Either way; concept art.

IGN also has some concept art.

I want to say it'll be FPS, but we can't know yet.

Okay I would say.

Looks like it's drifting too far into Fantasy for me.

How is it drifting into fantasy? It looks like something that's straight out of a Sci-Fi.
Science Fantasy, yes.

It's a giant ball floating over the surface and white knights who are tasked to defeat evil monsters. The concepts overall look very alike to Final Fantasy 13.

1: How does a giant floating ball make it a science fantasy? The ball can be some type of building or monument. Halo 4 has those giant floating buildings when you first land on the planet. Do they make the game a science fantasy?

2: The White Knights can be some type of military order. Think of them as the Brotherhood of Steel from Fallout. Just because they are called "White Knights" doesn't make it a science fantasy game.

I agree.

  • 11.28.2012 6:38 AM PDT

I think its a bit early to tell, but I enjoyed the concept art thoroughly.

  • 11.28.2012 6:47 AM PDT

All we know is little about the plot and one concept art. Although I can't say I'm not interested, I'm neither then hyped for it.

  • 11.28.2012 6:55 AM PDT

Looks amazing, csn't wait!

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

While the concept art is pretty cool, I don't have any opinions about the game itself yet.

Just look at the concepts. The outfits, the structures... this is not going to be entirely science fiction.

Not even saying it's bad. Just not my cup of tea.

Remember, he's going off what we see and hear at this point. He was asked his thoughts so far, judging by what's out there currently.

Not even saying it's bad. Just not my cup of tea.

1: Their outfits still look Sci-Fi. They look like they are wearing Mandalorian-KoTOR era armor. The guy with the red cap looks something like Mandalore The Ultimate.

2: The structures look more Sci-Fi than anything. This concept art looks like Coruscant or Taris.

So far there's nothing that tells us this is going to be a science fantasy game. Once we see some giant dragon with the Witch-king of Angmar ridding on its back in some photo. Then we can call it a science fantasy game.

  • 11.28.2012 7:24 AM PDT

Break down, every single one of you.

We really don't have enough information on Destiny to come to any conclusions, but that isn't stopping me from being psyched.

You are trying to justify it is sc-fi by showing me pictures of Star Wars? That prime-example for Science Fantasy?

You must know that Fantasy is not always associated with dragons and magic.

I'm pretty interested. That new piece of concept art looks pretty sick!

IGN has some more concept art. EDIT: Didn't see this had already been linked.

Well, that looks very familiar. Looks like someone is a C&C fan at Bungie.
