But the Concept art looks cool.
Concept art ALWAYS looks cool.
no it doesn't.....

ALL ART CAN BE OBJECTIVELY GOOD (as in what came out vs what you intended it to be)

BUT the way a person reacts to a piece of art differs and thus it can be cool for some and dumb for others...

so in his opinion, and mine I/WE THINK that it looks cool.

example this is objectively well made, but i hate the look/feel of the vanu

Watch out. If I post in your thread, chances are it'll die. I've been cursed, and if I kill your thread, I'm sorry.

If its a first or third person shooter will most likely buy it. Does anyone think they have a good idea of what genre it's going to be?

I want to say it'll be FPS, but we can't know yet.

I'm thinking it'll be a sci-fi fantasy open world RPG. They said you can explore with friends, so I'm assuming it'll kind of be like Borderlands in that sense of exploration and group experience.

They also said its very social, so I'm assuming it'll be something like that.

I think the concept art looks cool, but I want to see some ACTUAL GAMEPLAY (as in normal gameplay and not trailers) before I make judgements.

More concept art here on IGN, looks fantastic.

It appears that the story of the game is that, -blam!- it, I'll just quote it.

Our story begins seven hundred years from now in the Last City on Earth, in a Solar System littered with the ruins of man's Golden Age. A massive, mysterious alien ship hangs overhead like a second Moon. No one knows where it came from or what it's here for, but only that it's our protector. Meanwhile, strange, alien monsters creep in from the edge of the universe, determined to take Earth and the Last City. We are young knights tasked with defending the remains of humanity, discovering the source of these monsters and - eventually overcoming it. Elsewhere in the document, the massive alien ship is referred to as the Traveler.

It sounds great so far, but I won't judge a game on concept art.

Take me into your heart! Accept me as your savior! Nail me to the -blam!- cross, and let me be reborn!

I'm a big fan of Bungie and all, but

Not enough information to form an opinion yet. The concept art was nice though.
I have to agree with this. The pictures are nice to look at and seem interesting, but I still don't know enought to form a solid opinion.

I've already quoted the story outline guys. It may be basic, but it was released on IGN and sounds great.

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

This is in the wrong forum. There is a large thread here where you can discuss this.

This is an off-topic forum. Threads about Bungie itself and Bungie's projects are not appropriate here.

The armor's more like the stuff seen in Warhammer. Some of the concept art especially screams Eldar to me.
