I don't see you doing anything to help our country.
Except sitting at home, naked, eating twinkies, rubbing your hands together going "Heh. Target Destroyed. Mission Accomplished." Oh wait. that's not helping.

No, I don't mean the exploration or colonization of anything off of Earth. In many older pictures from around the 50's era, which sadly I am having an impossible time finding now that I actually have a use for them, you'll see places in the Middle East or Africa looking as though they've become full on civilizations of non-natives. I'm sure many of you know what I mean, the country clubs and hotels populated by rich American and Europeans in places where it is really out of place. My question is, what happened that stopped these efforts to what seems to me like a betterment to every area it took place in. Of course now all of these buildings are dilapidated and the once luxury cars of the 50s are now all over the place in around the same condition. So what gives Flood? Why was there a huge push to settle in these areas, only to abandon them to time?

I more mean the fact that it seems that these settlement or community type things were well established. They had bothered to export mass amounts of cars, along with other western "essentials", and of course western building materials to construct buildings considered normal by those settling. Case and point right here.
