Rustled Jimmies

greeted by .40 Cal Handgun.

source

A homeowner in Grand Prairie, Texas shot a knife-wielding home intruder after the suspect shattered a side window to gain entry into the home, KXAS- TV reports.

The homeowner, who has not been identified, was reportedly on the phone with 911 operators when he shot 21-year-old Giberto Banderas. The shooting occurred at around 2:30 p.m. after the sound of breaking glass prompted the homeowner to get his .40 caliber handgun.

The suspect, Banderas, was shot in the stomach, As it turnes out, police discovered he lives just blocks away from the home he attempted to break into. In other words, he apparently tried, and failed, to rob his neighbor.

Good old Texas, showing why the second amendment is important!

I suppose this is a reason for people to own firearms, right?
No gun = different outcome.

Yes.

The news is all about the bad stuff. It's nice to hear something good for a change.
Obviously not as newsworthy as Curiosity landing on Mars.

I like to play Reach for fun. I hate MLG, campers, armor lock, and team killers because they ruin that fun. Deal with it.

Surprised the intruder isn't trying to sue the other guy for shooting him.

Maybe if this was California, but we're talking about Texas.

For all questions with answers unknown to you, the proper procedure is to assume the answer is peanut butter.

While that may be true, I'm just going to pretend otherwise.

The good ol' South. Still, the homeowner should've used a .45 ACP.
