I don't see you doing anything to help our country.
Except sitting at home, naked, eating twinkies, rubbing your hands together going "Heh. Target Destroyed. Mission Accomplished." Oh wait. that's not helping.

Everyone is born ignorant. We learn from what we are told sure, but that really doesn't factor into much in the lend. Humans learn by example, and that is the disease the plagues us. Think about yourself, what kind of person are you? Now think about your parents. I'm willing to bet you are almost identical in many ways to one or the other, and I don't mean in appearance.

When we are young we base our personalities off of those we look up to. For many this is your parents, and it shows in most cases. Sadly many if not most kids grow up without much attention from their parents, and they go to the next best thing, the entertainment industry. They show how "people" dress, look, act, talk, what a good job it, everything. So for those who are stuck with this as their learning tool, well it explains a lot about our society lately. Think of how many people live glued to their computer, phone, xbox, tv, having so many social accounts on so many websites they need a website just to track them all...I could go on, but you get my point. Their personalities then shape from what they see, which if we've learned anything from reality tv and most news networks is just an awful side of life. There are then of course parents who shower their kids in things, which is worse in some cases, and the ones who are around their child but are themselves terrible role models. There lies the problem.

The result is people who think they own the world, it always has to be their way, anyone better than them is evil and putting them down, truly in most cases just vain and malicious people. Think how many go to so easily bully others, laughing about how fun it is. I know I could never do something to actually make someone miserable, yet others cast it off like nothing. Public attacks, fights, bullying, all because of the way they were raised. A personal example I will share is my former friends. They cast me off for no reason other than they found it funny. I have done countless favors for all of them, and helped them through more than I care to remember. Never once did they pay me back, even getting a ride occasionally was a hassle. It took me until now to realize that they were using me and I was just eating it up. I cannot fathom how people can act like this, mostly because I would never do this. The problem is, they break my theory. It seems they are like this solely because they want to be like this.

The question then is, are some/most people just born with a low moral standing, or is there some other key factor that we just don't understand yet? Just something to ponder over. I hope to have a good discussion with all of you.

Disregard Females, acquire currency.

Well luckily for me, I don't look up to any one. Not to be vain or anything but I am easily the nicest person I know. And I know exactly what you mean OP.

That's how I feel most of the time. I would never say it anywhere but here, but I always seem to be the moral anchor, the one keeping everyone from doing something really stupid. It's a good feeling to have, I'm sure you know what I mean.

Likewise, OP.

I like games and music

I think the main problem is that the media industry basically says it's cool to be a douche.

Well, I know that my relations with my parents where not that great and all that, but not bad either. But I am smart enough to understand how others feel too due to the high morale I have.

There is nothing wrong with being confident. It really is a great thing, but the way it is displayed in most cases is as douchy. People then assume that to be confident they must act this way. It then of course leads to assumptions, such as any confident person must inherently be that way.

How much did you bet? Because you need to pay up.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.
