Watch out. If I post in your thread, chances are it'll die. I've been cursed, and if I kill your thread, I'm sorry.

Title for reference.

Personally, I don't. I don't want to put down $50 for content when I have no idea what it will be. For example, had I bought the ELITE for MW3, I would have been angry. I hated Face-off and don't really play Spec Ops, so it would have been a complete waste of my money considering one of the DLC packs was only face-off and spec ops content.

No

It makes them price the DLC higher than it should be so that the season pass are normal prices

I understand that, but anyone who buys a season pass usually has NO WAY OF KNOWING all of the content that will be in the season pass, so they don't know what they're paying for.

If you're saying I shouldn't have bought the "Season pass" for MW3, I didn't, and its because I don't know what all the DLC packs are going to be. Its why I never buy them for ANY GAME.

If I ever get AIDS, I'm going to sleep with another AIDS person so my AIDS cancel each other out, or I'm going to make the AIDS I already have worse.

Not really, they assume you won't have more money between map pack release dates so they make you spend a lot at once.

It doesn't bother me too much. Publisher's get their money upfront, and consumers get a discount, everybody wins. And if you don't want to pay that much upfront, you can still buy it as you go. Makes perfect buisness sense.

  • 11.28.2012 1:45 PM PDT

I dont really mind you can always purchase the stuff separately when the DLC is released.

  • 11.28.2012 1:47 PM PDT

No thought required, just spawn and GOOOOOOOOOOO

No.
Either finish the game and include all the DLC, or provide the content in expansions.

The black wind begins to blow... Okay... give me your best shot... If you're prepared for the void!

No, because I want a complete game.

  • 11.28.2012 2:05 PM PDT

You don't lose a thing for not buying it.

It's a gamble. If it is good you get a discount plus some bonus content.

Just like real gambling you don't know whether it's worth it or not.

On the Left

Godshatter: I can go all the way with someone without being attracted to them.
CamCamm: How does that work?
Godshatter: I'm easily aroused by anything that moves. It's a curse.
Brain says 'No, that's ugly', body says 'ugly is fine with me'.

Plus people can buy the season pass after they have release all DLC. So its a win win for people. You can pick and choose DLC, or like all and get the discount.

no its legit, i used coordinates, set weapon timers the works.

Yes. More Devs should follow suit to what DICE with Premium.

I'm not a fan of the concept, it just rubs me the wrong way. I don't buy a lot of DLC in general though, so I'm probably not the best judge.

  • 11.28.2012 2:13 PM PDT

It only takes a simple question to change everything.

I like it. If you buy it, you save money, and you are not obligated to buy it. It helps you save money, but it's not a necessity in any way.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

I only have an issue with it when devs/publishers half-ass their game with a large dlc schedule roll-out. Basically advertising that their use of the online pass isn't to protect their loss from used game sales, but just to -blam!- peoples wallets.

Call me Rdog, not RdOG or RdOG1507. I made that username when I thought it was cool to use alternating capital and lowercase letters...

Yeah, if you're planning on buying the DLC anyways.

It's also a good thing for developers because I am more likely to buy the Season Pass than I am to buy each DLC pack individually.

I'm not a big fan of DLC to begin with.
