The 1% of the US that holds all the wealth.
You make hundreds of millions of dollars every year? I find that difficult to believe.

So you weren't implying here that people in the 1% make hundreds of millions?

Not all of them, no.

You just assumed that if I was in the 1% I would be one of the people that did?

That makes perfect sense.

My point is that you have a TON of money if you're actually classifying yourself as "the 1%".

in 2009 it took less than $350,000/year to be in the 1%

Is that a TON of money?

Um, yes it is. I can't imagine where in the world you would live where $350,000 would barely cover your cost of living. That amount of income would be considered "a lot" by pretty much anyone.

Well I guess our opinions differ greatly on what a TON of money is.

The lottery winnings are a TON of money.

$350k is just a very nice salary.

I don't live in the states but we had a 40 Million dollar draw and I bought a few tickets.. I don't think anyone has won it yet.

I should really change my signature some time.

Hmmm... nah.

I'm not 21, so no. Even if I was I wouldn't have bought it because I'm not the gambling type.
