I dont lie. Really.

I've never understood why people dont celebrate christmas. It's a great excuse to receive and give gifts to and from people you like/love, and it's also great fun.

Because I don't have anyone to celebrate it with...

  • 11.28.2012 4:35 PM PDT

Define celebrating it. As for what you said it sounds like something a child that only wants presents would say.

3 reasons to not celebrate the holiday that is christmas.

-You, and/or the majority of family members are not Christian

-You do not have the money to give gifts, and cannot afford the holiday (sad but that is a situation)

-You just don't want to.

Personally, I celebrate it. But I understand why people don't.

Without turning this thread into a religious topic, Christmas is celebrated universally by people of all cultures and beliefs. Christmas originally was originally a pagan celebration.

Damn bro, that's a pretty good reason. I guess eventually you'll have a family of your own and you'll be celebrating christmas again.

Fun fact. Christmas was originally a Pagan holiday. Also you don't have to be that religion to celebrate it.

-You do not have the money to give gifts, and cannot afford the holiday (sad but that is a situation)
You don't have to give gifts I'm sure they will understand. You can celebrate it by spending time with your family/friends.

Erm, I do want presents. But I also want to give presents. And I want to enjoy a massive christmas feast on christmas eve.

  • 11.28.2012 4:44 PM PDT

Religion maybe?

  • 11.28.2012 4:46 PM PDT

Christmas isn't about religion. It's about goodwill towards man.
