Tomorrow I am going to start working out with my high school football team so that I can play my senior season. I plan on either being a receiver or a QB. I am 16, 5'11, 120 pounds.
In the morning I will drink milk with 8 ounces of Protein powder and after workouts water with 8 ounces of protein powder. I know I need to eat a lot, but I was wondering from people on here who play football, what else I need to do to prep for workouts. I am not very strong and I am hoping to back on at least 20 pounds before Summer break and 40 before the season.
I am a soccer player, so I am not used to heavy lifting, but my endurance is very high
